    So in this issue of Powergirl, we get to the war on Terra! At the beginning, Powergirl is fighting Terra whose brain is being controlled by Ultra Humanite. This battle gets out of hand quickly. Powergirl is pulverized by her best friends incredible moves. Powergirl gets back up and brings the fight to space and then underwater. Finally with Terra unconscience, Powergirl can get back to her battle with Satanna who has Terra's brain. Powergirl plays the bad cop and lasers Satanna's arm off. Powerg...

    It's a real shame that Conner and Palmiotti are going to be leaving this series soon.  Power Girl is a fun character to read with them behind the helm  This story arc has been kinda fun in my opinion.  Yeah there were some filler issues that slowed it down in my opinion, but it didn't do enough damage to hurt the credibility this series deserves.  I just hope these guys finish up their story here before the switch over after #13.  After what happened to Ultra Humanite in this issue and Satanna n...

    Power Girl must fight her friend, Terra, whose body has been taken over by the Ultra-Humanite's brain. THE GOOD Amanda Conner's artwork is a joy. She's got a light, appealing style that's finally struck the elusive balance so many comics artists have sought. That is, she renders superheroines in a way that's at once powerful, sexy and realistic.
