You might think Power Girl and Superman would be more than up to the task of taking down a few dozen dinosaurs – but we forgot to mention they were magic dinosaurs. The kind that spontaneously grow wings. And shoot lasers from their eyes. Under ordinary circumstances, they'd turn to Zatanna for help – but it looks like she's the one who summoned the dinos in the first place! What's going on here?

A magical issue and another new start 0

Synopsis: Zatanna teams up with Power Girl What's Good? In this second part, Judd Winick adds more magic to this series literally. Zatanna is being held captured by a villain called Siphon, a villain not exactly suited for Power Girl, but he makes things interesting enough so PG can't take him out so easily. He's such an interesting character that I wouldn't mind seeing him in future issues of Zatanna. The ending is quite a change for Karen Starr as she adopts a trick similar to Supergirl count...

Dinnerware, Car, Washing machine, bras-- magic out the wazoo. 0

  In comic books we have many different kinds of plots and stories. Sometimes there deep  Powergirl #23 and mind provoking, making us look at society from a different perspective and to generally see things in a new and original way. Then sometimes we have plots that are so ridiculous that you’d cringe just at the mere though that somebody actually put them down on paper (For example, most of the silver age plots and series). Power Girl might just be the most consistently good book I've been reading since I've thrown my hat back into the crazy world of comic books.  Whether that's because the character herself is just about everything I like in my superhero(ine) protagonist, or because the writing of Judd Winick and the the art of Sami Basri has genuinely been THAT good is beyond me, but quite frankly I don't care.  Power Girl's awesome, and #23 continues that streak of awesomeness.Every Little Thing She Does is Magi...
