When he turned seventeen, young Hal Jordan (cousin of the famous Hal Jordan, Green Lantern) was given the costume of his father, the Golden Age Air Wave. Hal became the new Air Wave, able to convert and manipulate radio waves. Air Wave died during the Infinite Crisis.
The Golden Age Atom, he was the first hero to use that name. He was also a founding member of both the JSA and the All-Star Squadron.
Alan Scott, the bearer of the mystical Starheart, is the original Golden Age Green Lantern and a founding member of the Justice Society of America. An all-time great, Alan continues to fight for truth, justice and freedom well into old age as a member of the Justice Society. He has now been introduced as an iconic gay character in DC's new reboot, Infinite Frontier.
Alexandra DeWitt was a photojournalist and the girlfriend of Kyle Rayner, she was killed by Major Force. Later she returned to the DC Universe as a Green Lantern, but she had to return to her universe. She recently appeared as a Black Lantern.
Alfred Pennyworth is Bruce Wayne's loyal father figure and butler. Alfred raised Bruce (and later Dick Grayson) after the death of the Waynes. A former British secret agent, Alfred is a skilled surgeon who often treats members of the Bat-Family.
The grandson of the original Amazing-Man, the second Amazing-Man served as a member of the Justice League before his death at the hands of the Mist.
The son of an Atlantean queen and a lighthouse keeper from the town of Amnesty Bay, Arthur Curry would grow up to become the superhero Aquaman, and later take on his birthright as the King of Atlantis. He is a founding member of the Justice League and is among DC Comics' most recognized heroes.

Honored Fallen Lantern of Space Sector 3014. Arkkis Chummuck gained his power ring after killing and eating his predecessor; however, he went on to become one of the more powerful members of the Green Lantern Corps. Arkkis died defeating Maaldor the Darklord.

The Godson of the original Atom, all Al ever wanted was to be a super-hero. Achieving this, he's found himself on both sides of the fence, a hero of the JSA and an enemy of them, with Black Adam.
Fallen Renegade Lantern of Space Sector 3112
Aztek was raised by the Q Foundation as the avatar of the snake-god Quetzalcoatl. He was meant to battle a great darkness. He was killed fighting the Mageddon with the JLA.

B'wana Beast is a jungle hero who got strange powers from radiation. B'wana can control the minds of animals and can combine two animals to make a more powerful hybrid under his control.
An experiment conducted by possessed Jericho to create a suitable body for the Lost Souls from Azarath, Baby Wildebeest was adopted by the Teen Titans after Jericho's Death.

Hailing from the 30th century, Bart Allen is the grandson of the Flash, Barry Allen and Iris Allen. Originally using the name Impulse and trained by Max Mercury, Bart utilizes the same powers of super-speed possessed by his grandfather and fights crime alongside the Teen Titans, known as Kid Flash and Wally West's sidekick.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.

Honored Fallen Lantern of Space Sector 3391
Dinah Lance was born into a family of crime fighters; her mother was a vigilante and her father is a cop. She grew up with the company of heroes, and after years of training, followed in her parent's footsteps by assuming the costume, identity, and legacy of her mother Dinah Drake, the Black Canary.
One of Hal Jordan's oldest foes, Black Hand has evolved from a gimmicky criminal into a sadistic madman capable of siphoning lifeforce from his victims. Reanimated after his suicide, he is now an avatar of the Black Lantern.
A native of the planet Havania, Bleez had a nearly ideal life, except that she had to contend with a number of unwanted suitors when all she wanted was a peaceful life of freedom. One of these suitors was a Sinestro Corpsman, and he killed her mother and tried to enslave her. A red power ring came to her then, and she killed him and became a Red Lantern. As he did with all his lanterns though, Atrocitus robbed Bleez of her intelligence. She has since regained it though, and now peruses her own ends.
Honored Fallen Lantern of Space Sector 2815.
Jaime Reyes was just a regular high school student from El Paso, Texas, until he found the Scarab after Ted Kord lost it. With the Scarab, he has great power and uses that power to protect the innocent as the the third, and current Blue Beetle.
