Slipstream not as interesting as I thought 0

 Cover As always Batgirl covers are always my favorite and this issue was no different. I really loved the cover. Love the concept and the art. It really catches your eye. Story Batgirl finally knows who Slipstream is and uses her new car to take her down. But the reapers still have a plan to take her down. Best Part I liked that we finally found out whom Slipstream was and that he was sitting next to her this whole time. I also liked to see that we still have Oracle in this series even...

Maby I should have said I wasn't trying to rob you first. 0

  I believe that this is true for the most of us, that when we enter a gadget shop, or toy shop or  Batgirl #20 any show with cool new things with buttons or levers we must play with them. Sure the signs say “don’t touch” but our inner child interprets that as “touch now! Play with it! They want you to!” This little flaw of mankind is also apparently true of superheroes. Or at least the new bubbly kind that’s now running around Gotham City with a new set of toys kindly offered to her by Batm...

A little too light; needs more meat 0

I started reading Batgirl because I'm an admitted Birds of Prey fanboy; they really seem to balance the whole "light-hearted atmosphere" thing with kicking ass and taking names. These are strong female heroes that aren't afraid to get their hands dirty, and remain tasteful even with the occasional cheesecake thrown in. The Good I really love gadgets. "Suiting up" sequences are some of my favourite scenes from movies, and having Batgirl be introduced to a whole bunch of new ones (courtesy of Bat...
