Review: Batgirl #17 0

 Damien and Batgirl stop kidnappers, and Batgirl gives Damien a lesson in how to be a kid. The Good I loved how Bryan Q. Miller wrote Damien in this issue. He's essentially an adult, in a boys body who worships his father, yet has no clue who his father truly is as a person. Although Damien is an overly serious person in this issue, he comes off as hilarious. I loved the fact he couldn't grasp the idea of field trips. A Great New Batgirl and Robin Duo 0

Batgirl is the most consistently great read of the Batman franchise, and this issue does nothing to deviate from that. Once again, Stephanie Brown and Damian Wayne are brought together for an adventure. This pair never fails to entertain, and Bryan Q. Miller proves that he is as equally good at writing Damian as he is Stephanie.  The actual plot of this issue is relatively unremarkable. Who knew you had to teach someone to have fun 0

  Cover  I always look forward to the Batgirl cover because I always love the art but this one is an exception. I have said this in all of my DC comics reviews this month I hate the white background cover. I am not a fan of it. This cover is no different from all the others I really disliked it.
