    To confront the unprecedented threats facing the U.S. today, only a Super Soldier will do! Thus, the call goes out to locate the long-missing legend of World War II! Uh, will his corpse do? Meanwhile, S.H.I.E.L.D. recruitment of superhumans kicks into high gear as Giant-Man, the Wasp, and Iron Man step forward! It's the beginning of the greatest gathering of heroes, and you're in on the ground floor!

    New York City, Today:

    Nick Fury meets with Bruce Banner over the reinstatement of the Super Soldier Formula Project. Banner has been calm even since the Chelsea Pier incident and his battle with Spider-man. However due to the insident Banner has been dempted to the number two position under Hank Pym.

    Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, The Super-Soldier Research facility:

    Hank Pym and Jan, (Wasp) pack up to move to the new facility in New York City. Hank is really existed about the prospect but Jan is worried about Bruce, Tony Stark and all the government interests behind the sudden funding. Hank has made a lot of progress on the ant formula and has many more ideas in store as such he does his best to reassue Jan.

    Manhattan/Upper Manhattan Triskelion Upper Bay

    Tony tests his new Iron Man suit and meets with Fury. Fury and Stark reach a mutual agreement in their working relationship and possible friendship. The Avengers team is a go.

    Banner gets to the new research facility and meets Jan and Hank who are already there. In moments Hank tests his Giant Man tests to success. Banner is calm about the mix of emotions swarming him and is doing his best to keep his emtions at bay.

    Later, at his quarters he is talking about his failures and Hank's successes. He feels he is too far behind the rest of the team on day one. Fury however has a surprise to jump start his research. They have uncovered the preserved body of Captain America.

    Pym and Wasp, Join Just about any good "team" comic book series is going to use the second issue as the character building.  We already had the perfect first issue now it is time to introduce us to the team.  Nick Fury, Hulk, Wasp, Giant Man, and Iron Man....for starters.    Everyone and everything is building up.   Nothing is being wasted.  Every moment seems important.  The characters are showing sides that will come to fruition down the road.  Take Banner for example.  He is a complete nerd ...
