Formerly an architect, social activist, and U.S. Marine sniper, John Stewart was chosen by the Guardians of the Universe to join the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic peacekeeping organization dedicated to protecting life throughout the universe. Stewart has proven himself time and again to be an exceptional champion in countless missions that have taken him across the cosmos. His distinguished service in the Corps has resulted in a place among the Oan Honor Guard and the position of Corps Leader.

Cassie continues adventuring as a member of the Teen Titans. Her New 52 incarnation is the daughter of Wonder Woman's half-brother Lennox, and derives her powers from an ancient armor named the 'Silent Armor' related to the demon Trigon.
With the ability to overcome great fear and harness the power of will, test-pilot Hal Jordan was chosen to be the Green Lantern of Sector 2814 inheriting the ring of the dying alien Green Lantern, Abin Sur. He later on went to creating his own power ring from his own will power. Through sheer will power and determination, Hal has established an impressive record of heroism across the galaxy with the help of his fellow Green Lanterns as well as his peers in the Justice League.

Carol used to be a pilot, but, after her father retired, she gave it up to run the family business (Ferris Air, a company in Coast City that makes aircraft). She hired her childhood friend, Hal Jordan, as a test pilot. Soon after Hal became a Green Lantern, Carol found herself possessed by a Star Sapphire gem. The gem gave her power, but also altered her personality when used. After the formation of the Star Sapphire Corps however, Carol has been able to remain herself and act as a hero.
Formerly married to Ray Palmer (the Atom), Jean was a lawyer specializing in criminal law. She lived in Ivy town and helped The Atom on cases at times. Jean later suffered a mental breakdown after accidentally murdering Sue Dibny. While incarcerated at Arkham Asylum, she was taken over by Eclipso and became that entity's new host, remaining so until being killed by Mary Marvel.

George "Digger" Harkness is a villain of The Flash (Barry Allen), he first appeared in The Flash #117 "Here Comes Captain Boomerang" in which he used the Captain Boomerang persona to commit crimes. He would later become a member of the Suicide Squad in the 1980s crossover event "Legends".

The son of Abin Sur, the dying Green Lantern that bestowed his power ring to Hal Jordan. Amon became leader of the criminal syndicate Black Circle and later a member of the Sinestro Corps. He was killed in cold blood by Laira. He is yet to appear in DC's wide reboot the New 52
Karu-Sil is a native of Graxos III. When she was just a child, her family was slaughtered, and she was left to be raised by a pack of animals. She is one of the most fearsome members of the Sinestro Corps.
Lyssa Drak was the keeper of the Book of Parallax and the chronicler of the Sinestro Corps. She menaced Space Sector 3500.
Once a member of the Guardians of the Universe, Sayd was exiled along with her lover and fellow Oan, Ganthet, for showing emotion. Together they formed the Blue Lantern Corps to help the Green Lantern's stop the Blackest Night. She is now a Guardian of the Orange Lantern Corps.
Nekron is the embodiment of death and darkness. He has the power to take and restore life as he pleases, contributing to the reanimation of many heroes in the past. Nekron has also recently become the leader and creator of the Black Lantern Corps, making Nekron the harbinger of the Blackest Night.
Sodam Yat is a Daxamite, the Green Lantern of Space Sector 1760, and former host of the Ion Entity. He's also prophesied as the Greatest of All the Green Lantern Corps.

By touching an object with his bare hand, the Human Bomb releases tremendous explosive force - enough to virtually shatter any substance. The Human Bomb fought alongside the Freedom Fighters before his death at the hands of Bizarro during the Infinite Crisis.
