'MAJOR LEAGUE CHEW,' Part Three Hey, remember that dead baseball player we put on the back cover of Issue #15? Tony learns his story this issue. And not voluntarily, either.

The issue opens up with John Colby trying to reach Tony on the phone. Colby is interrupted when Director Penya complains to him that he is doing a sloppy job as an agent of the U.S.D.A. Elsewhere, Dan Frank is feeding Tony Chu already decomposed limbs of professional baseball players. It is revealed that Dan is writing a book about 'The Sex Lives of Yesterday's Baseball Superstars' a book that he is intending for Tony to help him write. Tony eventually spoke out to Dan's plan to write his book, and because of it, Tony was beat up by Dan and a couple of his followers. Meanwhile, John Colby and Agent Buttercup were investigating phony bills that were made from vegetables. When the two completed the mission, Colby was scolded and told that he should never take credit of his partner's (whom was a Lion) work.

Back at Dan's place, Tony was being fed even more bodies of dead baseball players. Tony came up with a plan to give Dan false information about the past baseball player's sex lives to eventually loosen his ropes and escape from Dan's custody. He accomplished this thanks to the unknown secrets of the baseball players' past (i.e. one baseball player was an escape artist). In the end, Tony did escape however when he was going to beat up his opressors, Dan caught him off guard and hit him in the head with a baseball bat. Also Colby wanted praise from his boss Penya, so he decided to have sex with her.

    What's Up, Buttercup? 0

Highly Recommended!Another home run! I am not sure if I will ever find fault with this series. Seriously. It is amazing. It is as if they have the entire thing written and drawn, and all they have to do is split it up into edible bits for us and the publisher... hmm... There is so much going on, so much hinging on the continuity of the series, everything means something. The attention to detail and subtlety still astonishes me. Do not miss one bit of the background art - or you may miss some gre...
