@X35: Depending on the writer I suppose, but that's more avoidance and let's face it, most comic writers get frigged when it comes to deep feelings, romance, and anything extending into euphoria period, usually taking whatever way out available to them quickly. I was more focusing on Mighty myself, which in turn focused on the relationship from a rooted psychological angle on both Hanks end and Jocosta's, a consistent theme throughout the series that carried over partly into Avengers Academy. Hank never left the relationship, not in his heart, that much is certain, and I think we were always just seeing different developments in it (including his preserved Wasp in subspace, taking the identity, Jocasta's human reactions, ect). I can grasp the misinterpretation in fandom though, and people clinging to that scene, then again it's actually worse in parts with Sue and Reed. I think most people that cling to that do it for kicks anyways and usually aren't fully informed on the entire story, so I tend not to factor into to my own perception. Imo.
Cap and Diamond is a great one. I'd also take Diamond Lil (Crawley) and Madison Jeffries come to think of it, just on the basis that when I mention it I get a " huh? " (and the funeral was beautiful .-_-.)
