Although why they picked that film over so many other better films, I'll never know.

Because Into the Spiderverse gets ridiculously overhyped because of its great animation even though the story was pretty basic and cliche.

@skywalker95: I think a classic like Inception or Terminator II would have been better choices than BTTF or Spider-Verse. Anyways I mostly agree with IMDB ratings even if sometime they're very different than my ratings. For example I rate TDKR and Resevoir Dogs an harsh 8 for either meanwhile a 10 and a 9 to Whiplash and Terminator II respectively. Yet, the difference between them it only by 0.1 points. So I think they are reliable most of the times but not 100% correct as it depends which film we are talking about.

Wouldn't call Inception a classic tbh.

@skywalker95: Yeah, sounds about right. Personally I don't think that BTTF is that great. It's a good movie yes but I personally enjoyed the 2nd movie more.

It's an awesome movie, indeed, but that's how the Mafia wanted to be seen, not how they truly were.

In short, yeah, it had a great acting performance, great cinematography overall, but the greatest? don't think so.

It's like the movie 300, it's not that the Spartans fought half-naked, but the movie as a whole, is a symbolism of Western pride against the intruders from the middle east, such as the Persians and other Arabic or Turkish tribes wanting to submit European/Western heritage.

Fall to the abyss INTRUDER!

The Godfather reflects the inner desires of the Mafia, it's not objective, it's too symbolic too much fantasy for a movie that was meant to give a short view of how the Mafia could or could not gave been back in the days.

That makes it the greatest movie toward a very selective public, there are too many fluctuations pulling it up and down.

Return of the King is in for sure.

Now the tough choice of which to let out from Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump and Back to the Future...

Forrest Gump I quote from time to time, and I don't think it has aged in my eyes, so its in.

Pulp Fiction vs Back to the Future, I'll keep BttF since discarding it means discarding BttF2 and 3, as the original doesn't exist, and while I like PF more than BttF, I don't like more than the three of them.

Back to the Future has to be there. It was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid and I can still watch it to this day and have a blast.

Fight Club and Pulp Fiction for the other two but others are close.
