    As Calie treks through the ever-changing Wonderland terrain she comes face to face with a monstrous creature that may have deeper ties to her past than she realizes. Calie must find a way to reach out to the once human being in order for her to find her infant daughter. Meanwhile, Johnny finds he does not see eye to eye with the one calling the shots as a rift begins to develop between the two.

    As opposed to every other issue thus far in the trilogy, this issue could reasonably be called the “action” issue.  There is not as much to tie the characters into the overall story here.  There I still a little as Calie must face other threat from the realm, but mostly this issue is a sequence of action scenes that while well executed don’t really do much for the series as a whole.  It might not be fair to be critical of the series for this, it is still after a fantasy/horror and some violence ...
