The scenes inside the CDC were too far a departure from the overall tone of the series. It felt abrupt and misplaced. I'm sure this is going to be yet another lesson in 'the living cannot be trusted' and it's not where I'd like to leave the group at a season finale.  
 
Most of the group still isn't carrying anything for self defense. It's getting a little ridiculous now, particularly in light of the attack on the camp. 

I'd prefer to buy singles, but I don't have regular access to a comic shop, so I've found myself indulging in trades to support my favorite series. While I don't think I'd ever be comfortable lending out a series if I had clean bagged and boarded issues, I share my trades like it's my job.  I like being able to put the title right into my friends hands and force them to fall in love with it too. 

Can't Bruce Wayne now be held accountable for funding a criminal organization? I don't see how it's possible for Batman Inc. to ever have the support of law enforcement. 

The artist and writer are both doing brilliant work on this book.  
Anyone who isn't reading American Vampire is missing out. 

While this was a weak reintroduction for one of my favorite characters, there was a glimmer of hope.  "Black Robin." I'm okay with this. 

Amanda has been my favorite person in comics for years now. Ever since her run on the Gargoyles comics I've been following everything she does. If you ever catch her at a con you can watch her take the time to talk to every single fan, and she'll often do free sketches when people ask.   
 
Would love to see Comic Vine do videos with brief timelines of the careers of artists/writers/creators. Start with Amanda! 

I love when you emphasize an issue as a "good jumping on point" and I've seen you doing quite a bit of that lately. For characters I'm only mildly interested or have only a basic familiarity with I'll sometimes pass on things featuring them. Thanks for always letting me know when it's a good time to join the party. It gives me that little extra motivation. 

I enjoyed this less than I enjoyed the original arc, although the art was really nice. All the characters feel very affected by their movie incarnations. I don't think a full-blown hero team is the next logical step for the book. If anything I'd think Dave would be more disillusioned about team ups after his experience the first time around.

This almost looks fun... but then I see a card-based battle system?
