Another thing, the Patriots Offense looks Awful. They can not Pass the Ball to save their Lives. Cam Newton's Passing seems to have Regressed. I was hoping he would get a bit more comfortable in the Patriots Offense by now to he could at least throw the Ball a little bit.
The NFL Thread
Buccaneers looked pretty good against the Vikings but you can still see the Inconsistency of the Team Play. The Offense still is not fully in sync. The Defense plays really well at times and at other times really poorly. I was hoping by this time we would see a team playing more consistent.
Eagles beating the Saints was such an Upset. Looks like Carson Wentz may have lost his Job as starting QB for the Eagles.
NFC East is actually really interesting now. I mean the Redskins could potentially win the Division without a Decent Quarterback as Alex Smith has been playing mediocre and Haskins is usually Terrible but if the Eagles win out they could take the Division. Lets see if Jalen Hurts can help lead the Eagles into the Playoffs.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers looked Fantastic in the Second Half of the Falcons Game yesterday. If they can get more consistency in the First Half this team will be Super Bowl Bound. That Offense when it is Clicking is Amazing. Bucs Defense is Good too when it plays at it's best.
I know it's not possible, but I wish that the Eagles had a chance to win the NFC East. Jalen Hurts is playing Incredible and it would be fun to see how they would look in a Playoff Wild Card battle.
Has anyone noticed how many Rookie Quarterbacks have been playing good this year ? Herbert, Burrows before he got hurt ? Tua with the Dolphins. Now Jalen Hurts. It's something how well Rookie QB's play now compared to the Older Days. Back in the day it took a while for a QB to develop. Now guys can go right into the system and play well.
Steelers ought to be ashamed of themselves letting the Bengals beat them like that. It seems like the Wheels are falling off on Pittsburgh.
@pharoh_atem: Even if the Cowboys make the playoffs they aren't running it. They're not beating 3 playoff teams in a row.
I wonder if the Washington No-Names have ever thought about signing Kaepernick ? Could have been interesting considering that team really needs a Quarterback. Not really sure what type of condition Colin is in now though.
I am kind of surprised they snubbed Tom Brady for the Pro Bowl. While Kyler Murray is more exciting to watch he has not been having a better year than Tom Brady IMO.
@king_saturn: Yeah, not but any quantifiable measure. Brady has more yards and TDs and fewer INTs.
Hold it Hamilton. Who said anything getting to the SB, my guy. I was referring to them running the table getting to the playoffs.
Just 5 weeks ago we were talking about tanking for Trevor.
I am kind of hoping the Redskins somehow win the NFC East. There is a good chance that my Bucs will have to face that NFC East Division winner in a Wild Card Playoff. I do not like the idea of facing a hot Dallas Cowboys team against a up and down Washington Missing Names team that has no Quarterback.
Misunderstanding about what running the table meant. Yeah, they should beat the Giants.
Still, Kings of the NFC least isnt all that impressive ;)
@king_saturn: Depends if Alex Smith is Washington's QB. Their d-line scares me more than Dallas' defense. I'd rather be in a shootout with Brady against a mediocre defense than grinding it out against a dangerous defense.
@pharoh_atem: Idk that Dalton is washed. If you can protect him he's a capable starter. He's definitely not elite but he's probably one of the best back ups you could have.
Sure, he can get you to the playoffs, yeah - but a guy with a 0-5 record in the post season doesn't exactly fill me with glee once he gets there.

Didn't see that coming. I guess it doesn't matter either way.
Oh well. At least we'll have a top 10 pick, and a fridge top-10 Quarterback, presumably, coming back healthy and poised to get back on the field.
@pharoh_atem: Cowboys need a new D coordinator and fresh defensive talent. But they need to address the aging offensive line too.
Eagles are in full rebuild mode it seems. Carson is acting like he's done in Philly and I'm pretty sure they tanked last night's game so they could move up 3 spots in the Draft.

The way Wentz was playing this year he shouldn't be a starter. Too much as happened now, I think him moving on to another team is the only way forward but i don't know who will want to take a chance on him.
@lunacyde: I don't think this season is a good indicator for what Wentz is as a player but, it's a tough sell. No team watching this season is going to want him plus his contract is worth like $109m so who's going to pick that up?
@decaffeinated: Exactly, I think its likely he can get a lot better, but who wants to take that risk given his injury history and most importantly his massive contract. No one wants to spend that money when you're not sure what you're going to get.
I've heard a lot about him going to the Colts and reuniting with Frank Reich and theoretically it makes a lot of sense, but I don't think it will actually happen.
While Washington's Defense does Worry Me a bit, I do think that the Bucs high powered Offense can get the Job done. Washington's Offense is so Average even with Alex Smith back IMO but the Bucs Defense has been know to Fall Asleep during this Season. Can't wait for Saturday Night. Wild Card Football.
Derrick Henry was such a Monster running the Football this Year. He's in the 2000 Rushing Yards Club now.
Aaron Rodgers also was Incredible. Outside of his Bucs game he was Really on the Money this season. 48 TDs to 5 INTs ? Incredible stuff.
I get people complaining about the Eagles handing the WFT a playoff spot but if I may be so bold they definitely deserved it over the other NFCE teams. Rivera pulled a miracle with that team with especially
Guarantee you if Smith Started from the jump they would have a positive record.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with WFT making it or the Giants losing out. My issue more stems from Pederson making a mockery of the game on primetime and then lying about it.
It's just sad there were so many great games on Sunday and then he decided to sabotage the last game we got as viewers of the regular season
@nerise: No they shouldn't be. WFT>Gaints and 6th pick > 9th pick.
Losing that game was better for everyone.
Accept the Giants lol. Although I never agree with Nick Wright... he was right in saying the Giants didn’t win the division because they only won 6 games. The Eagles didn’t owe the Giants anything.

Im glad you support Doug Pedersons coaching performance this season. Im not an eagles fan so i wont drag this on after this
@nerise: I wouldn't call what happened this season a coaching problem.
Wentz played like complete ass we still have no defense, no WR core, and our team is too old/injured. Those extra 3 draft slots might help us get an Elite WR.
@decaffeinated: I wouldn't waste it on a WR, you can get game-changing WR in the second round. I'd get the best secondary piece they can get if I were them.
