Gratz!
We are a family.
A very messed up one for sure
@itsomething: Thanks man.
Naaaa, it's not that messed up, besides all families are bound to be messed up on way or the other, especially if it needs to be interesting.
@gizmorino: messed up in a good way
@itsomething: ::)
@gizmorino: ;;)
@gizmorino: Oh so thats what it means lol
@gizmorino: Oh, that's such a cool language. Except that it looks like someone just pressed a bunch of letters on a keyboard and created a new language haha. No offense, it probably looks that way from every different language haha.
@artyom: ya,
and it's somewhat complicated.
Some words have different meaning but same spelling(in english).
OBE(stew/pepper, knife).
OTA(enemy, bullet). There are many others, these are just the ones i can think of now.
It's the "ami"(mark) that's written with it that makes you know which is which, or the "ohun"(sound, pronounciation) that makes you know what the person is actually referring to.
@jestersmile: hm.... Nice!!!

That's really interesting. I'm totally writing my report over Lagos. Hahaha
@artyom: it's the general language of the south-western part of Nigeria, not actually a lagos language.
Nigeria is complex, it used to have about 4000 tribes and cultures, even the yoruba tribe was sub-divided, it had about 20 types of yoruba, in lagos there are about 5 types of yoruba, but over the times many languages and tribes/cultures died due to civilization, the 3 popular tribes are igbo(wolverine08 is a descendant....shhh i never told you), the yoruba(which is still divided), and the hausa, it also known as "wa-zo-bia" whichs means come, wa is come in yoruba, zo is come in hausa while bia is come in igbo.
The yorubas are at the western and south western part of the nation, the igbos are at the south eastern part of the nation while the hausas are at the northern part of the nation, they also occupy tha north-centrl with few yorubas.
Though my family lineage trace back to osun state, the state where "ile-ife" is, where yoruba people originated from, so am not truely a lagosian.
