Yes, He would, rememmber he spared Darkseid many times, and the guy has destroyed and killed far more beings than Frieza. He has spared lots of beings who are monsters, and should be dead.

Superman plowed Darkseid into the Source Wall and figured that would be the end of him. Also in Final Crisis he willingly contributed to Darkseid's demise. Also Frieza has a higher death toll than Darkseid given he randomly blows up planets for lolz.

Yep, that's called sparing, Darkseid didn't die, he was trapped.

Also in Final Crisis he willingly contributed to Darkseid's demise.

To be fair, Darkseid didn't really die, he was reborn in the future IIRC. But anyways Darkseid was already pretty much dead prior to that, since Batman fired a Radion bullet on him.

Though that was a rare exception, Darkseid caused multiversal havoc which was gonna destroy multiverse, that's a big deal, Superman does spare, but there is a limit to it, Darkseid has simply crossed it. But let's not forget that there were other fights in which Superman has spared him.

Also Frieza has a higher death toll than Darkseid given he randomly blows up planets for lolz.

Blowing up planets doesn't tell us that much, not all planets have that much populance. While Darkseid has killed lots of people across MULTIVERSE through CENTURIES, he has killed then resurrected people then again killed them and the same cycle time and time again.

But to be fair, just look at all the instances where Superman spares monsters (not just monsters but also horrible people), and you will see that it is out of character for Superman do as such, he has done so very rarely.

Trapping someone in a place where they had no hope of getting out and may as well have been dead. That isn't sparing them.

Yes his essence was causing the collapse of the DC Multiverse, but Superman still joined in to permanently end him and put a stop to it.

Umm, every planet Frieza has destroyed has life on it, and he has his forces take them by force and decimating the native life in it. Superman didn't spare Doomsday, he killed him. Darkseid has killed less people in comparision. And you're thinking of Desaad and Kalibak as who he kills and resurrects again and again with the Omega Effect. Killing 2 people or very few people, while ruling a planet and not really taking an active stance outside of searching for the ALE or other things doesn't really compare to Frieza.

Yes, and then he'd hand him to the Green Lantern Corps to be imprisoned by people capable of actually doing so.

No hope of getting out? Characters have done that before, so there is always hope.

Did you read Darkseid War tie-ins, it was specifically shown that those who are trapped within the Source Wall and appear a stone golems are not what they appear, we see them as such, but in reality there are within the Source, which is basically heaven of the gods, Yuga Khan was there as well, he was freely moving inside the Source. So being trapped inside the heaven of gods is not that bad of thing actually, unless you meet those dark gods obviously.

So as you can see still better option than being killed.

Yes his essence was causing the collapse of the DC Multiverse, but Superman still joined in to permanently end him and put a stop to it.

Obviously, there is a limit to Superman's killing morale, and it took MULTIVERSE DESTROYING LEVEL THREAT for him to do so, Frieza is just typical planetary type, the difference is obvious. And he didn't stop him permanently it was only temporary. The New Gods were reborn in different universe after those events.

Umm, every planet Frieza has destroyed has life on it,

Proof.

and he has his forces take them by force and decimating the native life in it.

Darkseid has done similar stuff and worse, he breaks people's will and makes their own friends and members of family kill each other, now that's evil.

Superman didn't spare Doomsday, he killed him.

Doomsday was a mindless monster, who doesn't have a mind nor a soul, so that's obvious. Later when DD gained consciousness he was sparing him.

Darkseid has killed less people in comparision.

Yet, the way he treats them is FAR worse, as i mentioned previously with my examples. Frieza is more destructive that's for sure, but Darkseid is more evil, Frieza is typical blatant villain type.

And you're thinking of Desaad and Kalibak as who he kills and resurrects again and again with the Omega Effect.

Well, Kalibak his own son, yet he treats him no different than anyone else, at least Frieza had normal famility relationship, and no they are not the only ones he uses that method on, he used on children as well, killing them and then resurrecting.

Killing 2 people or very few people, while ruling a planet and not really taking an active stance outside of searching for the ALE or other things doesn't really compare to Frieza.

Except the WAY he treats people around is what makes him more evil, Frieza is typical evil villain, Darkseid is different and his actions portray him as the more EVIL one.

But if we are gonna talk about mass murderers and planet buster, then let me introduce you to Superboy Prime, the guy killed lots of people, killed entire planets, messed with timelines and etc...and yet Superman still sparred him.

Superman would recognise Frieza as a thread to the world and take him out.

Yes but he wouldn't leave Frieza alone allowing him to recover and come back stronger than ever with revenge on his mind like Goku did. He'd find a way to imprison him in the Phantom Zone or hand him over to the Green Lantern Corps to be imprisoned. That is a much smarter thing to do. Plus on the Darkseid thing, Manchester Black called out Clark for not having it in him to end tyrants like Darkseid for example.

He wouldn't kill him, but he'd try to put him in the phantom zone, or just bring him to justice to the galactic patrol.

Yeah, Frieza isn't enough of a threat to actually kill. Superman would just pummel him, give him a second chance, then imprison him in the Phantom Zone once he kills again.

I think it depends on the version of Superman. He might be spared or his neck broke.

Phantom Zone or he'd hand him over to the GL corps. If none of those were an option; I can see Superman killing him for the greater good like he did against Imperiex Prime.

Pretty much this. Letting Frieza live wasn't necessarily stupid, but letting Frieza go so he can heal, get stronger, and continue to terrorize the galaxy was. Superman would try to contain him.

Of course, if Superman were in the DB universe, he might kill Frieza anyway. Since in Dragonball dying just sends you to another dimension where you are still fully conscious and able to do everything you could in life, just contained. It is functionally the same as the Phantom Zone.

Probably not..honestly being dead in the Dragon Ball universe isn't that bad.
