Wonder Woman VS Magneto

• Pre/New-52 Wonder Woman. Prime standard Magneto.
• Random encounter.
• Magneto has basic knowledge of WW.
• Standard gear.

How should I know? I got this idea from reading one of those WW threads. Where in my OP, that you read Magneto has prep time? Ok, noted.

magneto is redic overrated. he doesnt even win fights you'd think he'd win. doesnt use any of his powers. wouldn't surprise me if he jobbed to adamantium wolverine or sabertooth or something

I don't think Magneto is that big of a jobber. Most of the time, it's the people who end up fighting him that job not the other way around.

if wonder woman coms to accept fighting in the buff to rid herself of the metals, she stomps, otherwise she wins after a decent fight

. Where are they fighting? With Magneto fighting it matters where they fight much more then usual.

I was more confused by how a prep character with customizable tech has anything to do with a physical character/magic based character being able to tag someone in a fight

I hate when a character has an obvious advantage then the OP takes it away...

In the fight against Iron Man, Magneto didn't even bother putting up his shields. They made him fight H2H something he rarely does. Still, Magneto was matching Iron man until Magneto sensed the PF coming and lost his concentration. I've never seen Mags shields broken by force even when fighting Thor. Mags uses WW own bracelets, sword and tiara to defeat her. Even if you say she speed blitz, mags has reacted to Spectrum, lightning and optic beams with no problems. Once his shields are up, WW can't do anything and he kills her with her own weapons

@pooty: You seem to be knowledgeable about Magneto. What is his high-end reaction speed feats like?

why don't the writers ever actually use their powers? it's consistent. why wouldn't magneto put his shields up. that literally makes no sense. maybe he did off panel. or maybe he decided to use all of his energy to enhance his physicals or whatever it was he was trying to do. who do you think would win between magneto and ironman, no prep?

Magneto was being attacked by multiple Avengers. Spectrum aka Photon was in light form. In light form she can go light speed. She was a few miles away which is nothing when you're a beam of light. She tried to blitz Mags who was able to get his shield up in time to block her. i'm looking for the scan now

but if you feel the writers aren't credible enough to even write them with their powers, how can you trust them with the nuances of miniscule feats of combat reaction time. anyone can hit anyone in comics, unless the writer is having someone job to a speedster. then the speedster is completely untouchable

Where does the fight take place?

I think the fight is heavily influenced by location, in the middle of the desert magneto is neutered compared to fighting inside of a city.

Maybe people should make a sticky with different battle arenas/areas so people can have a better idea, it would be fun to.

Lasso blitz

For the sake of accuracy, this isn't what happened in the comics exactly in this order, but it will happen to Magneto who has been blitzed before by far-far-far slower opponents.

@alphapunk: I didn't think about the location because the OP was very different when I first made it. Going to say the battle takes place in the middle of unpopulated Times Square, but Manhattan is. The same with battle of the week.

What are Wonder Woman's Bracelets made out of because she is wearing things that are metal. I don't see why Magneto wouldn't toy with her.
