It all comes down whether Bayonetta and Dante can hurt Superman. Also Bayonetta can't slow down time for too long.
I think they can, imo Dante has just below Hulk strength and in devil form is much more powerful and has tons of magical wepons that can definately put Supes to rest once he's frozen.

Superman would be too fast for Bayonetta and Dante even when they slow down time. I think Bayonetta and Dante have a good chance fighting superman, they certainly will give him a lot of trouble. But I still think superman should win this battle.
Which version of Superman is this? if this is Silver Age Superman then he stomps both of them badly , the guy had unlimited super strength , speed , invulnerability etc Dante and Bayonetta slow time power won't work here , this guy used to time travel whenever he felt like thanks to his unlimited speed & if this is Modern age Superman then Dante and Bayonetta may give him a good fight but Supes will still win lol his powers are too much for both them
2. Dante has an annoying little style called royal guard. Royal guard allows Dante to use the royal block and royal release techniques. Basically, if Dante blocks just before an attack would hit him he takes no damage and absorbs the energy of the attack. This block hasn't been shown to have any limits. Royal release unleashes all the stored up energy of the royal guard style in one giant blast of magic. So basically, if Dante gets off a royal block or two, and then hits Superman with royal release, it will release the energy of several of Superman's punches back at him, as magic. I think that would be enough to kill him.
Morals On, No prep, but with knowledge they have to fight each other. I doubt Superman is going to open up with a speed blitz. However, I see Dante and Bayonetta not holding back at all if they have their most powerful equipment at their disposal and know they gotta fight Supes.

That's true, grapples are effective. However, Superman would have no way of knowing that, and just a few punches could lead to Superman basically killing himself.

why would it be silver age superman? he hasn't been relevant in over 20 years
We are talking new 52 Supes, who Dante, I think, could go toe to toe with if he had to. Not counting all Dante and Bayonetta's magical stuff, which Superman is vulnerable to.
Gonna go with the team way too much magic for Superman to handle not to mention Dante and Beyonetta are no slouches in the strength departments either. Beyonetta has survived reentry form space without a scratch both on the team have both defeated the Gods/Devils of their respective universes and they both can stop time.
I am a big fan of DMC but I am going to say it depends, if Dante has Yamato included in his package, then possibly will go in Dante and Bayonetta's favor. If he doesn't, then they will give Supes a difficult fight, but Supes will come out on top, but will be difficult.
@Jodokon: It matters not. Dante and Bayonetta have a huge arsenal of magic at their disposal, such as the ability to stop time. Supes is majorly weak to magic. The team have a major edge in that much.
Dante also has the physical ability to go toe-to-toe with Supes, should he have to.
Bayonetta and Dante can solo with ease. They are not only magically empowered but also have time manipulation abilities together as a team regardless if morals are on or not, they murderstomp.
I only played DMC 4 and didn't even know dante was this powerful, can he bench press the earth for 5 days while having a boner ? Can he move from earth to pluto in mere minutes ? Can he hurl the flash through a building with a flick of his finger ? Can he masturbate in space ? To what degree can he manipulate time, is it as good as Zoom ? I'm not even surprised supes gonna b*** slap bayonetta for a slutty witch she is and make her give him a free of charge lap dance with dante squeezing his own titties out of confusion
@lytet5: He can`t bench press the earth for 5 days but he far outclasses Superman in versatility as well as raw power although he doesn`t really compare in the physical strength category but he`s pretty strong in his own right and can still hold his own against Superman. Dante is also hypersonic+ and without DT is very hard to kill, with DT it becomes close to impossible. Swords through the chest or critical strikes to the body don`t bother him whatsoever.
@NeonGameWave: yep, I remember that fight with the giant abomination where i had to get my d*** real hard in order to dominate it. BTW, is the dude heat resistant ? I mean i remember him fighting that large quadruped ablazing creature (IIRC it was the first boss and I also recall that it looked like a b***) and actually getting hurt, what if superman releases a radius-wise extended heat ray upon him ? I think you mean Berial Conqueror of the Fire Hell and I don`t think Dante is exactly immune to hell fire or high temperatures but he is rather highly resistant, so Superman`s heat vision would be pretty useless. Dante can use Quicksilver to slow down time and with Yamato would wreck Superman. Yamato can cut through anything also. No problem.
Superman's heat vision is hotter than the flames of hell, Superman can go incorperal, Supers has physical speed that can travel through time, Superman has bypassed time stop abilites some young new gods tried a chronal freeze on Superman and all it did was piss him off. Magic wise, Superman isn't weak against Magic, he just has lower aptitude not to get effected by it but Cerza and Dante don't have the physical feats or the wide scale hax to deal with Superman's power and speed and his own wide scale abilites. So all these statments about Superman fallening to the bullets and swords is moot, since Superman is above swords and bullets and he can use his superior physical reflexes to catches the bullets and break the swords. People think Superman is weak like humans are weak when facing magic, no he's just stronger than most humans yet is not resistant to it like any other being not endowed in the supernatural.
I'm sorry, but for anyone going for the team because of time manipulation would they care to explain how they do so before Superman blitz them? Many act as if their mere presence alone slows down time.
