The enigmatic Book was a mutant with the ability to see into the past. She joined Professor X's New Excalibur that he formed after the Genoshan Sentinel Attack caused by Cassandra Nova. She is quite a bit older than most new recruits but is conversely much more skilled in the use of her powers.
She is presumed to have lost her powers after the events of M-Day, though this is unconfirmed.
