Will Black Widow Ever Be the Same Again?
This is a brilliant end to yet another brilliant story in this series. It has brilliant art work from Michael Lark and is expertly written by Ed Brubaker who has really knows how to write all the Captain America characters Bucky especially.
This issue we see Bucky and Sitwell still looking for Black Widow. Bucky starts getting very frustrated and hasn't been able to sleep since it's happened. Sitwell asks Bucky what Widow's cover used to be and when Bucky answers saying that Siwell already knew the answer they know where she is. Once there Bucky and Widow start fighting until Leo starts shooting at them. He goes to fight Leo whilst Sitwell tries to subdue Widow. Bucky gets the upper hand on Leo but Leo leaves him the ultimatum of capturing him or stopping Widow from killing Sitwell. Bucky gets between Sitwell and Widow and reminds her of who she is. She is upset and tells Sitwell where Leo might be. Bucky goes to this point and rescues a Professor who tells him Leo is gone and when Bucky tells him they have Widow he tells him that was Leo's plan.
I really enjoyed this issue and it's nice too see someone besides Bucky back under mind control. There were also some good fight scenes in this issue and a lot of emotion between Bucky and Widow.
Final verdict. In some respects this is a better series than Captain America as it has a lot more character emotion and development in it and a more interesting story as of late. I would highly recommend it and will be sad when Brubaker leaves the series (like he's stated he will).
