Not everything goes well... 0

"Big Man Plans" is a brilliant (and overtly violent) book that makes you realise its never to late, for those who can never forget ... or forgive. In this book e do see however that not every act goes without the chance of something going wrong, and the creators of this book know how to make you feel for this guy and in a way bring out a sence of justified horror that kept me very entertained... a bit depressed afterward (in a good way)....

Part 3 of 4 parter is always a challenge.... and Big Man Plans does not let you down with any issue in its limited run. It will make a wonderful little compendium all together, but in the meantime I thank the Digital comic gods that bought this little gem to my iPad down here in Far South Tasmania (Australia)...

Justice come in all shapes and sizes.... 1

THE Main man has made it all the way to his final issue. I'm a little sad and a bit afraid of how its all going to end, and why it had even begun in the first place... but that is a sure fire sign of a quality book. I have loved each graphic page of the rather hard core story - so well done peoples !! I will be adding the artist and writer to my list of peoples to watch out for in future comics. Thanks again and 'Hang on There' :)...

Best Rural Noir comic !! 0

I am a very firm fan of the long running "Revival Series'.... I love its art and atmosphere, its one of those re-readable tales that keeps me looking forward to every month. I was lucky enough to start off with this series with Issue 25 and had the chance to binge read them, now I have to wait a month for each instalment and I am very impressed with its consistent well presented tone....

Do yourself a favor..... 0

"Saga" is such a magnificent Graphic Novel. I stumbled across it by accident and it really did rekindle my thirst for high concept story telling that makes you laugh (for probably all the wrong reasons).... Fiona's Art is consitantly flawless and the writing is so all mind consuming that I literally constantly re-read issues just to relive the fun of the tale that they are both telling....

Once upon a time.... 0

Once I got into the story and understand its a tale designed 'never to be transferred onto a screen' (TV or Movie) then this captivating tale pulled me into its world like the novel at the centre of our Romeo and Juliet parents love life.Told in a 'when I was young' reminiscent style story it has many many characters, situations and a whole bunch of future fantasy mixed circumstances that very much strikes a cord with the modern reader.I found it very enthralling to see these alien creatures us...

This classy tale takes a turn...... 0

I kinda like where this story is taking us. Its action flows as quickly as the flow of the story, I find myself wishing for more and more after each issue that these peoples are making. Even re-reading from issue one you can easily stay within the realms of believability within the expansive cross of Fantasy and SciFi narrative.... big words I know, but this is also a fun story for the reader who just wants an issue of action and / or also those after an ongoing saga....

Dont judge a comic by its cover.... 0

No there is nothing wrong with the cover art, but it does signal a dark tale inside.I read this first issue and simply wanted to know what happens next... now issue 4 is out and somehow this 5 part tale has me hooked and waiting with anticipation for the concluding issue. I've re-read these stories and find its 'inbred characters' and circumstance oddly transifixing, the art is immaculate and probably explains my unexplainable attraction for this book. Give it a try, I was surprised....

The road may be long..... 0

After reading issues one through to 29 in one go, it is a very captivating Tale. each issue may take its time to tell the story but by the end of each issue you are drawn to the first few pages of the next, now I have to wait a month or so imbetween each issue I have the options to go back and re-read this lovely tale of Life, undeath, rural peoples and out of towners all thrown together into a group that you actually care about (and sometimes empathise with). Well done to the writers and an ex...

The Family friendly Christmas Demon.... 0

I loved this 'tour' around the Christmas Realms from the just released Krampus point of view. Its a great introduction to a much larger world, as well as being soley captivating look into the lives of these seasonal icons. It is very nice to see a fun and relatively trendy version of Krampus.... after reading trough this, I have every intention of being 'Granpa Krampus' should we ever be blessed with Grandkids....

Run Silent - Slash Deep 2

Its always fun to see how a new books begins its journey and like all good tales that have pulled me back into the realms of comic books 'Big Man Plans' starts with a slap and then keeps at you. Each page is a vision unto itself and the ever building structure of the story makes this a very re-readable book.Being a small statured person myself I greatly enjoyed "Big Mans Plans".. in many of the (somewhat violent) situations he finds himself in I felt like I would have gladly made the same choices...
