StMichalofWilson Update

Hey followers, your resident Saint here! I’ve been having problems on this site ever since the change and it seem like this is going to be a long time before it can be fixed. There are some videos I would like to post, but can’t. I can’t add any items to my list, yet alone create one. Lastly, I can’t even edit for remove some images from my personal gallery. I’ve been using the same brower and operating system I’ve been using ever since I signed on to this site, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I understand the moderators are trying their best, but really making this difficult for people who log on to this site to really enjoy it. I’m not talking about myself, but to others who’ve been having the same problem as well.

Anyways, now that I’m done calling the moderators and their highly trained monkeys for this, I would like to post this update. I’m going to work on the Game of Thrones blogs featuring the history and lore. There will be a narrative and (once my problems have been fixed) visual presentations on certain topics so look out for those. I’ll do at least one book recommendation sometime in the summer. I will also continue doing Remember the Cartoons, featuring classics I’m sure you’ll be happy to see posted. Blog of Badass will also return as will Voice of a Generation. Finally, I’ll be working on creating Crossover Fan-Fics that will leave you curious for more. So until then, may the Force make you live long and prosper! Yeah I’m freaky that way. XD

If I do, I’ll make sure to put a warning sign before it happens! Here is the stuff I’ll be featuring the origins about the world of Westeros, the Free Cities, the houses that rule the land, and the wars that have occurred. I’ll even post some scenes from the show and moments from the Book that was adapted into screen. So, are you ready to play?

Remember the Cartoons: Chaotic

This American-Canadian animated fantasy television series produced by 4Kids Entertainment and animated by Bardel Entertainment. The series and it’s plot is based on the Danish trading card game of the same name. The series began on October 7, 2006 and ended March 13, 2010. The series lasted for 3 seasons.

Chaotic tells the tale of a teenage boy named Tom and his friend Kaz. They both play the Chaotic Trading Card/Online Game, in ways you never imagine. Though a special code, they are transported into a place called Chaotic, where the players of the game play an advanced version where they transform into creatures and duke it out!

But if they want to play as other characters or gain upgrades they can also transport themselves to Perim: A world where the creatures, locations, and items from the game are real. Yeah, a card or board gamer’s dream come true in my opinion.

Next Time: And we're zany to the max!

Superhero Cartoons Ain’t What They Used to Be

I’ve been pretty irritated with Cartoon Network and Disney right now. So far they have been taking away such good programing as of late. First it was ThunderCats, then Star Wars: The Clone Wars (I’ll get more into that later), now Green Lantern and Young Justice. I don’t know what’s going in their heads. This is not the first time that amazingly stylized shows have been removed from programing. I remember Spectacular Spider-Man, I remember Wolverine and the X-Men, and yes I remember Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. I really believe that companies need to invest more time in realizing that if the show gains enough respect and credibility they should at least give it a chance.

Since learning of the recent change, I am concerned about the upcoming season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars later this year. So far I am really enjoying this season and looking forward to more episodes, but now that Disney owns LucasFilm, I’m a little concerned. No doubt of mind that they will do whatever it takes to get money out of this, but will they listen to the fans and honor what they’ve cherished for so many years? Also I hope for more stories featuring the side characters of the show.

I will admit I appreciate Ultimate Spider-Man, but only because they manage to reference a lot of things from the Marvel Universe, the fight scenes seem better than the classic shows, and it has Agent Coulson. I think of it as the Batman: Brave and the Bold of the Marvel Universe. The comedy in the show is bland but get over it. This is a kid’s show. I can understand that it is supposed to seem corny for the sake of being corny. Kids will never understand that until they’re older. So for now, at least give it the benefit of the doubt.

I know that it’s been a hard time working some shows on kid television, so why not let it continue in other stations? Some of the TV shows are sponsored by different companies. They should really think of the possibilities of creating fan pleasing superhero shows that are more mature. Look at DC, their animated movies are really impressive and provided so much fan service. A show that features a lot of good stories in the comics could really prove to be a benefit.

I think there could be a lot of positive opportunities for this if people give ideas like this a try.

Also, this imitate hate over something new is really getting irritating. I think it’s better to be skeptical than distained. Don’t judge too quickly.

Hopefully my opinion makes sense
