This idea came to me when I thought, "there's quite a few walking city type "mechs" in fiction, what would a battle between them be like?" And so here we are, 3 gigantic titans that could probably house your entire town/city population (depending on where you live). OK, maybe that's a tad hyperbolic, but still, these things kick ass and now they must kick each other's asses.
Battleground: Sahara desert, starting within 20KM of each other
Standard equipment for each, i.e. Teppelin could deploy any gunmen that it was known to house.
Team Black consists of: Black Adam, Black Bolt, Black Canary, Black Hand, Nekron, Black Panther
Team White consists of: White Lantern Hal Jordan, White Lantern Kyle Rayner, White Tiger (Angela Del Toro), White Phoenix of the Crown (Jean Grey), Emma Frost, White Lantern Sinestro
Battleground: "Real" Earth-New York City
Conditions: All characters are in their latest incarnations when they were last used/alive, minus Nekron who is in his Blackest Night state.
We're talking new characters here, not returning roster. I'd personally like to see a representative of all the Lantern Corps. or at least Atrocitus, Larfleeze and Black Hand/Nekron, but just make sure they have varied move sets otherwise we'd see some lantern saturation. Red Hood was a popular choice that people kept asking for in the first game, but I think any more Batman characters would be too much. Starfire and Black Canary seem like they would be good additions, especially if they add tag battles like in Mortal Kombat (imagine Raven/Starfire and Green Arrow/Black Canary team-ups). I'd love to see Captain Atom too even if he was killed off in the comics. Can't really go wrong with Darkseid either, maybe as the final boss as well, or just rip off Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and have it be a giant Anti-Monitor fight.
What about if the Metroids had Dark Samus leading them? She survived a collapsing dimension and it seems to only real way to kill her is to destroy all Phazon is the universe. Metroid's are also the only race here that don't rely on the need of a central hive mind IIRC.
