it does not state that she is coming back, it is just some kind of theory from the people. But you cannot blame the people, including me, on thinking about Jean's possible comeback. Because, in the endsong, Jean stated that she is Phoenix and Phoenix is her and that they are one. Therefore, if the Phoenix is coming back, there is a possibility that she is coming back too. Or maybe, we will be seeing a reincarnated Jean but don't you worry, there is still no assurance of Jean's comeback, even though I want her to be back. We will just wait for the AvX to end to see if this "big" event will mark her return.

I hope they will create X-Men like the "New 52" in DC but isn't that plagarism? And I think something good might be happen after the AvX arc. Maybe, most of the mutants will be re-empowered and the division between the x-men will be healed. But still, it is too sad to see Professor X not leading the X-Men anymore I hope they will turn the leadership to Professor X and let him do the old fashion way. I wonder? what will be the reaction of Jean if she discovers the events that are happening to the x-men right now?

My guess is that, Hope will be revealed as the reincarnation of Jean Grey, as everybody as expected, because of the House of M which was caused by Wanda. I think, in my opinion, it will be revealed that during the House of M, Jean Grey, while in the White Hot Room, felt its effect and revealed to her that something is not right. After Wanda pronounced the "no more mutant" phrase that cause majority of the mutants to lose their powers, it was revealed to Jean that the mutantkind is in the verge of extinction. Because of this, Phoenix or Jean Grey decided to reincarnate itself to do something about it but, she cannot reincarnate with the full potential of the Phoenix. So, she decided to separate from the phoenix for a meantime and reincarnate herself again back to earth as Hope Summers. However, Jean Grey's presence and memories are still in the Phoenix. So, in short, Hope has no memories as Jean Grey. With the conflict between Scott and Logan, and with the division of the X-Men, the Phoenix that has Jean Grey's presence decided to comeback to earth and merge once again with its reincarnated self which is Hope to bring Jean Grey back and do something about the Decimation and conflicts of the X-Men. In the end, Hope had successfully merge with the phoenix without causing havoc to the world which the Avengers thought of it at first. It will be revealed that she is The White Phoenix of the Crown and tell them why did she comeback. She will also judged Scarlet Witch about the Decimation and also healed her from her "insanity" and maybe, stabilizing her powers again. She will reconcile the two groups of x-men and also the avengers. She will also heal Jubilee and bring back the powers of most of the depowered mutants. She will also tell Emma that she will not take Scott away from her since she is now too young for Scott. After that, she will disappear and live Hope lying in the floor. It will reveal that Jean Grey is now within Hope and revealing that she now remember her past self which is Jean Grey. This will also cause Hope to change its attitude and personality which will make her to be more like Jean Grey. She will also have her TK and TP back and will reveal that Jean will continue to exist inside of Hope and will be back again if she is needed for the world. This will also cause Hope to leave the X-Men and decided to explore more on her new improved self.

First of all, I would like to say that I like your "immaculate concepcion" idea. Second, I think that Jean Grey is already back as Hope Summers, my theory is that maybe, because of the chaos that is going on between the humanity and the mutants with the addition of the House of M, maybe, the Phoenix decided to reincarnate Jean immediately so she can do something about this event and if ever, prevent the upcoming dark events for the mutants as a messiah. I read somewhere in the internet ( I forgot what site it is) that Phoenix let Jean Grey die in the hands of Xorn/Magneto in order to be reincarnated again in the future whenever the world needs the help of Phoenix. Maybe, the phoenix did was to seperate itself from Jean for a mean time and let Jean reincarnated as a human again which is Hope Summers.With the tension that is going on with the X-Men, maybe, the Phoenix decided to appear again and merge to Hope in order to be Jean again to prevent the tension between the X-Men.

w8, you said that Hope was the one who gathered all the fragments of the Phoenix? Isn't it Jean Grey was the one who gathered it? and besides when the Phoenix fragment was lost from Rachel, she shouted "no mother!!!" or something like that which pertains to Jean Grey who had called all the Phoenix fragment after gaining the title as the White Phoenix of the Crown. If your theory is correct, therefore Jean Grey is really back in the form of Hope Summers?

I like your idea of Jean Grey bringing back the champions and putting her as the leader but like WarMachineMarkV, Jean Grey of the x-men is not suit for a leader since all her life she was viewed as the assistant leader to Scott and for me, I think, her characteristics does not fit to become a leader so I can't see also that she will lead a team.

I have also thought of Jean's comeback but I want Jean to comeback with the Phoenix Force since her original story was that the Phoenix was her true evolution of her powers. For me, I want marvel brought back Jean in a different way. In a way that they will show that "this is not the former Jean Grey you know, the Jean Grey of the X- Men is dead and forever be dead. This is the new Jean Grey". I want Marvel to make a whole new Jean Grey with a new backstory, new origin, new characters and a new sets of villains to battle and a new love interest ( not sticking only with Scott and Logan). In short, I want Marvel to make a new series with her as the main solo heroine. I do not want her to comeback in the X-Men since it is "over crowded" with mutants already. And maybe, in one of her series, she will be team up with the X-Men with the interesting reaction of the X-Men finding out that Jean Grey is alive but finding out that she is not the former Jean Grey of the X-Men but a new Jean Grey whose phoenix powers is a product of its fullness and without the feeling with either Scott or Logan. Another reason why I also want Jean to be recreated and have a solo series because so that Jean Grey can create her own name and not only Jean Grey whose name always sticks with the X-Men. It is time now for Jean to have a solo series of her own.
