@LB70145: they COULD have made it a year easily. every SOE game has gone for years. even the "dead" SWG has gone for 6 or 8 years now. but in a market where the other 2 superhero games have already gone f2p, (because every mmo is going that direction these days) it doesn't make business sense to not go f2p. you make more money off a f2p scheme than you do p2p.

This issue this industry faces is the same one faced by the music industry and other industries who are rooted in traditional delivery mediums. All printed mediums are in decline; including Newspapers and magazines.

As long as the product is made more easily available and is fairly priced, these companies can thrive. But the days are completely gone where the record companies can charge $15 a CD knowing that only 3 tracks off it are worth promoting and releasing. The comics industry has the same problem. No one is going to pay $5 for a printed comic if they can download it for free digitally. If the comics distributors released the books digitally for a fair price ($1-$3) and simultaneously as the printed counterparts hit the shelves, then the industry could turn around.

People aren't inherently thieves, but consumers are smarter now and they know the costs involved, and they know when they're being ripped off for a comic book or a cd or whatever. It's not the pirating consumers that are the problem, it's the greedy C level execs heading these industries that is the problem. The CEOs steal from the pockets of the consumers; the consumers steal back. Cause and Effect.

no. i love her. let her rest in peace (still). she shouldn't be resurrected again for at least another 15years. she may have been dead since 2004/5 but with all the characters they redesigned like rachel and others to emulate jean, it's like she has never died.

As much as I absolutely LOVED Barbara as Batgirl, I think she's come to mean much more to the vast majority of readers as Oracle and developing her character back to Batgirl is a step backwards. I sincerely hope this is just one of those short lived ploys and she's back to Oracle within a few months. It's more interesting to see her move onto something else entirely or keep her as Oracle. Here's to hoping it's temporary and ... let Stephanie Brown shine as the new Batgirl and find her footing.

@Migz13: wut?! no.
the timing has nothing to do with it at all... the product was horrible and that was the problem. look around, there's tons of comic adaptations still happening. the problem is that the audience is more sophisticated and expects more from an "adaptation" than just slapping the name WonderWoman on it to make it successful. 10years ago before X-Men comic fans were just happy to see any of their fav characters on any screen at all and it really didn't matter how bad it was - they'd still watch. Fast forward 10 years and movies like the Dark Night, Iron Man and Thor have shown that if you properly respect the source material and do it justice, you can do something amazing. Thor especially is a good example of a very tricky source material similar to WonderWoman's. They can do it, they just have to do it well and not try to push a half assed piece of crap at us. Hollywood loves serving $10 and expect to make $50 back.

Red Robin should take the name of Nightwing. He needs it more. Red Robin has to be the worst name ever and his costume is pretty high on the short bus side of costumes also.

Cassie would make a good successor to it, but I think they need to give her something new. Maybe Huntress is auditioning for a partner.
