Man, that's actually really interesting.

Imagine that trope where this new guy shows up on the block and is better at everything than the protagonists and they freak out about it. That's how a character like DCEU Superman could fit into the MCU. Maybe Hyperion or Sentry could be used there?

I could see it taking a toll on his mental health and driving him further into his work. He might see it as having nothing left to lose. Making him a villain Injustice style sounds forced to me, though.

Both costumes look cool but I slightly prefer Shazam's. I don't think the Captain Marvel suit is bad per se but it feels kind of generic. That seems to be a trend in the post-Avengers MCU; most costumes have random details. It's not so much details like extra padding as random streaks of colour that don't benefit the design at all.

With Shazam that's not a problem. The design is far more simplistic and memorable (which is important when trying to create cultural icons. Take notes, Marvel) but also manages to capture the tone of the film and the feel of the character. You can look at the costume and immediately understand what it represents about the film and its protagonist.

It makes the most sense for Cap to do it. He's been the leader all along and its corniness fits his character. The other obvious choice is Stark but somebody like him would be more likely to critique it or poke fun at Cap for saying it.
