I don't like when i hear about when some crazy person with serious mental issues goes and kills someone then the media says it was due to them watching violent movies, video games, comics, music, etc.
what do you think can exposure to violent media cause someone to commit murder
No people committed Murder long before there were video games, violent movies or comics. Banning or limiting the material will never prevent murder
I do agree that young kids should not be exposed to violent/adult material
anyways that's why movies have certs and thats where the comic rating system comes in and yes they have been banned already back in the 50s

No. I won't say that violent media can't influence someone but it's ultimately their decision so the blame rests with them. I love violence and I haven't killed anyone... yet.
violence is quite simply a part of nature, it exsited long before the concept of entertainment. every animal on this planet regularly engages in some form of violence. it will always exist no matter what restrictions they put on media. the only thing that causes human violence is a lack of self control if people would teach their children disapline it would do wonders, im not saying itd go away but itd lessen.
Not as much as video games apparently. = / You'd think that at some point in time, someone would've tried using The Word to tell someone to "go f*** youself" and we'd see a news story about it...but nope. Nothing.
