even if Yhwach had the almighty thousand years ago his reaitsu would of obviously been weaker than it is in the TYBW arc as is Yamamoto power.
the fact that he one shot Ichibei already proves that Yhwach is vastly superior to Yamamoto, how Yhwach lost 1,000 years ago is a mystery
but we must remember what Yhwach true power is, the ability to share his soul adn then take its power once they die, 1,000 years ago he only got his SR in place, in the Current war many SR die and return back to yhwach adding to his power including Gerard and Masculine to add as examples.
if Yhwach gives a human power and then they train for 1,000 years after they die all of that trained power is then added to Yhwach own power.
Base Yhwach already stated that only he could steal Yamamoto power indicating that he is as powerful as Yamamoto or stronger also confirming that for a quincy to steal a Bankai it requires similar or higher power than the shinigami they are taking it from.
in the scan where Jugram fight ishida we get confirmation that Jugram version of the almighty is weaker than Yhwach even tho they share the same ability, the only reason for this is that Jugram own power/reiatsu is weaker thus cannot use its power to it full potential.

OT: yhwach is still the strongest by far out of this list but the soul king is stronger than him
@leothegreatest: neither are nearly that strong and on ichigo part he's missing a plethora of hax to be relevant. We already saw SK yhwach with the almighty stomp the ever living daylights out of ichigo so there's no reason to think that the SK would do any different

You could argue yhwach being above prrme SK. But he didnt have the Soul Kings brian,legs and other fragments. Also SK seems to have a more evolved almighty.
SK Yhwach needed The Almighty against HoS Shikai Ichigo and said Ichigo’s Bankai was so powerful he dealt with it in the future by reaching into a future where Ichigo was likely exhausted after killing him over and over only for him to come back.
Ichigo is more powerful but The Almighty will always stomp him because he has no way around the hax.
@leothegreatest: that is some wild head canon there. First off you know his power is to alter the future not to bring some random future to the present. For him to do that ichigo would have to be all out of breath and exhausted which he wasn't
Next him saying it's a fearful and powerful bankai doesn't mean he would lose. The instant after ichigo brought out his bankai it was shattered because yhwach was that much stronger than him. Ichigo stats did nothing for him as yhwach helplessly blitzed him several times after he broke his bankai
Without moving at all he had Ichigo’s broken Bankai and his horn in his hands. That’s bringing the future to the present.
He already said this about Ichigo’s HoS Shikai alone
He paid respects to the HoS Bankai as well
Ichigo’s Bankai alone was comparable to Yhwach when he actually killed him.
So how would Ichigo’s HoS Bankai not be above Yhwach? The instances your talking about are simply Yhwach moving himself and his attacks towards Ichigo through the future so Ichigo couldn’t react.
