OT, there is little know for the direction and design they intend to use for SG at this time. Nothing I have seen states that she will or won't be blonde.

- I personally hope she ends up blonde, since there's not that many main blonde DC heroes, and out of any of them, Supergirl is arguably one of the few who is notorious for it.

I am curious to see what they do with her, but for now I could care less until I see something to look forward towards. Hopefully the dceu can full through in the coming years.

I personally do not want Chloe Grace Moretz... not that I think she would be a bad casting choice, just that I would like to see a different person casted for this role.

I would prefer if she ended up blonde, but I don't think I'd be upset if she stayed a brunette. She's Clark's cousin, who has brown hair, so it makes sense.

I haven't seen any of her work, but I've heard she isn't a great actress.

I'd definitely prefer a blond haired blue eyed Supergirl as that's her iconic cheerleader look. But I can't complain too much as I won't be watching whatever movie she's in.

Would be a little odd if she doesn't have blonde hair but that's definitely not a deal breaker for me!

A Latina Supergirl is the first time I've looked forward to the character

I think the fact that she's Latina is a much bigger deal than her hair color. Actresses change their hair color for their roles all the time (including Melissa Benoist, she's not a natural blonde), and even if she doesn't, it's still not really that big of a deal. Regardless, none of this is a reason to dismiss her before seeing her act at the role.

I don't really care about the hair/eye colour. Just as long as she somewhat looks the part and can act well in the role.

She doesn't look like Supergirl. Idk much about her acting skills. At this point I'm not surprised anymore / don't care about casting films. They can do whatever the hell they want to race bend comic book characters sometimes with silly reason behind it and when we criticize them they call us rasict.

The DCEU has a history of great casting? Since when? Actually, their casting history is more likely to make me question most choices until I see them on screen.

Great, they messed up Aquaman with Aquabro, tossed a perfect supes in Cavill to the side, got a crap actor for flash, and a decent actor for wonder woman.

This is WB plan to slowly phase out Cavill as supes and run with Supergirl, why else would they not make another solo film with him for 7 years lmao.

On top of that it's supposedly keatons batman who will be a "mentor" to her.

About Cavill. I read an article about Stan Lee before he died when he answered the question why Marvel never made the Hulk films again.

He said the Hulk's strength was too great to be shown in the film. So they decide to weaken or nerfed him on purpose and make him a side / supporting character

DC is following this route with Superman and ironically some people agree with this.

I'm fine with the casting! To me, she kind of looks like Supergirl from that apocalypse movie, which was awesome BTW. All she needs to do now is dye her hair blonde, and she's ready to Fly!

I like latinas but a latina Supergirl would just be weird and among latinas, there are others that can be better as Supergirl than her.

I have a few fancasts for Supergirl and Rachel Nichols is one of those. Sadly she's in her early 40s now but if she played Supergirl before, that would be pretty great imo.
