Why the hell does Darkseid look like a statue? It doesn't look like he just hit Supes, maybe he looks at the statue and gets some weird visions of Darkseid or something. We don't know the context.

Also, he most likely wont be > MCU. Since MCU still has BFR and hax along with some high-tiers like IG Thanos, Celestial, Dormammu etc. We might get more ridiculous feats from Thanos/Cap Marvel or Hulk. So who knows.

And the movie will still flop.

@chazzer: It depends on how warner bros approaches the film, i'd say wait until the league members each have their solo films first and then bring in darkseid after flashpoint, unlike thanos, warner bros can use flashpoint as an opportunity to get back into the game

Of course it would break everyones hearts to see darkseid beat the hell out of the league, i don't think that would be disappointing to see

The first one looks like a bad action figure standing over Cavill.

If done right, Darkseid could be an incredible villain. Make him a powerhouse above Supes and WW. If he is defeated at the end, make it a hard fought battle with no pis and involving Batman's plan and contribution of the league. Make it in a way that Darkseid will go down with his head held high. Don't bring backstory or and justification behind his actions (it doesn't suit him). Just give him a solid personality that is terrifying as well.

That is my take.

Actually, he has a point, GA would probably see DS as a Thanos rip-off. They shouldn't introduce him until at least a year after IW2 finishes its run.

MCU still has Thanos, Surtur, Dormammu, Celestials and abstracts like Eternity and Infinity seem to exist in the MCU.

show him in New Gods as the untouchable villain that's very presence seems like the apocalypse. Show him in Suicide Squad where he just kills the SS and leaves earth (this one is more for a personal satisfaction lol). Then have a MoS sequel where Superman briefly meets Darkseid and gets his ass whooped but gets away. Finish off with an Infinite Crisis type of arc.

I bet you couldn't give me a link that confirms it. WB released a revised film schedule after JL flopped and JL2 was nowhere to be seen. I remember it because I was shocked! I couldn't believe JL flopped so bad WB scrapped plans for THE JUSTICE LEAGUE SEQUEL!!

DC is failing so bad all the towers of DC films are stuck in limbo. JL2, MoS2 and the Batman reboot are the stuff myth at this point. The only films certain are the ones DC had already green lit before JL flopped. WW2, Aquaman and Shazam. And get this...WB confirmed all of those will be standalones with no ties to the DCEU. DC is literally failing right before are eyes.

It's just a slow death. In a few years DC will have completely crash and burned.

Theres no official confirmation yet, but there have been hints they want darkseid as the main villain of the dceu, JL was a wake up call for warner bros, they wont make the same mistakes again, but hey, at least they are doing better than fox
