@Jeronimo: Although he wouldn't have been able to take out Aegis and Tenebrous (2 beings each with power equal to Galactus) without the aid of the crunch, it was still impressive and really showed his heart and power in that battle. But, that should not be counted in this thread.

current SS can beat Thor BRB Quasar Nova Thanos (no prep and no PIS) elder gods and apparently two galactus level being (though he was barely alive after)
@difficlus: when he beat the 2 beings of big G level he channeled the crunch and the OPdidnt state it was here or not if he had the crunch he could beat anyone galactus level and under basically but i do agree with your list he pretty much beat beta ray bill in his own series god hunter and no pis he could take thanos in my opinion
It's situational who the most powerful being is he can beat. Power Cosmic can give him crazy rediculous wins depending if he has something of extraordinary power.

Yes i know this, and this is the reason why i think the Surfer is underestimated by many writers who don't understand how powerful he has actually become. And in every fight i have seen the Surfer in he has never really used his matter manipulation powers againest his foe, which tells me that he's holding back.
And also don't post any post-annihilation scans of the Surfer getting beat because he has increased by a lot since his latest upgrade by Galactus.
Take a look at these, and the Surfer isn't even really trying.
The surfer doesnt even have his board in this one.

SS beating Elder Gods? don't know about that.. Gaea is probably the weakest of the 4 remaining Elder Gods and she has no problem taking down Doctor Strange, Namor, Hulk and Silver Surfer..
From my line of thinking, probably Molecule Man. Lots of power, raw power, but also inconsistency and lack of being to apply it effectively all the time. Surfer would have to approach this with some sense though, and not how he has in the past, trying to match raw power. Instead if he is allowed, he should slowly back away from Owen, lull him into a false sense of security then use superior reflexes and speed to then punch him Cap style. So I see it as finding the an opponent who has lots of power, but also a lot of personality flaws that render them less potentially effective.

without PIS Thanos shouldn't even be able to tag SS, Thor is impressive but current Thor isn't what he used to be. Current Thor = powered down, Current SS = powered up. if any indication current SS knocked down BRB to his knees in 3 blows while trying to be modest about it...

True story. He defeated Tenebrous and Aegis, both who were said to be equal to Galactus. Though he didn't defeat them through brute force, he was able to defeat them the one way they could be killed.
@difficlus: true.. but how much exactly did SS's powers were augmented? remember, Agamotto who is an Elder Spawn is of sufficient power to fight Galactus and Dormammu.. Gaea >>>>>> Agamotto.. and i still consider SS much bellow Galctus or Dormammu.. and Dormammu needed the help of his sister Umar to capture Gaea.. but in the end Gaea is still of sufficient power to banish Dormammu back..

if i remember correctly, Big G never fought the Vishanti combined.. he only fought Agamotto and the battle is to a standstill.. Agamotto expressed no fear against Big G and even insulted him about his past life as Galan.. the fight was close to a stalemate until Oshtur and Hoggoth arrived and told Agamotto to not lower himself to the arrogant ways of Galactus..
it has hinted that the united might of the Vishanti is greater than that of Galactus.. SS still has to prove he could take on someone who has the capability to defeat an Elder God.. i'm sorry but that is my opinion..
Galactus wasn't very well-fed during that fight with Agamotto. Also, the fight took place in Agamotto's realm, which is why Agamotto can keep regenerating his body after being blasted apart, for he is the realm itself.
@fallenangel5991: granted.. Agamotto was in his own realm.. but saying Galactus wasn't really well fed is out of the equation.. the Galactus who fought Agamotto was a standard level Galactus.. he wasn't hungry or weakened in any way.. the reason Agamotto can regenerate himself back is because he is not a corporeal entity.. like what was said in the scan above.. the physical approach won't work at him.. and we also have to remember that it was Agamotto's power which teleported Galactus to his realm.. and Galactus needs his "Eye" to aid them in their battle..
I think that's its safe to say that Silver Surfer is indeed more powerful than Thanos and Thor, but if they were put in a fight together these days i have a feeling that the writer would make the Silver Surfer lose. My one big question is, how come the silver surfer never uses his matter manipulation???
