Hmmmm... I apologize for this part, the subbed version of the anime I watched said world, then comparing them to the LN said this small country (Japan) many times over.

Still, destroying Japan many times over is still impressive and to be precise, the LN said that she can destroy Japan many times over if she so much as "glitters". Meaning that it is only a small fraction of her true power so destroying the Earth is not too par fetched.

Also, Issei's original body have been replaced by Great Red's Flesh, the only transformation that leaves him in pain is Diabolos Dragon.

@overlordarthas: the thing we don't know if that glitters were one of her attack cuz we have many crazy ass attack in DxD which won't even thought as attack in other fiction. Issei's dress breaker in good example of that.

Issei have super transformations, effects that cover all the screen, and he have a harem, but Dante do not need all of these. And yet Dante is more manly and cool, and of course he might looked simpler, because he do not need it to defeat Issei without much effort.

Even in speed, Dante hold the advantage. Issei is massively hypersonic with his best feats while the weakest version of Dante was easily sub relativistic without any style or abilities.

Also Yamato can cut through anything even dimensions.

Ever heard of DMC 5? Bro, DMC 5 Dante's power is insane, Issei has no chance.

DMC recently just got a lore buff. They're 9D Complex Multiversal now, thanks to the DMC 2 Novel, Visions of V manga, and Peak of Combat. No way in hell can Issei beat Dante now.

There are also proofs/statements that scale Dante to Outerversal, like him beat Argosax who is a True Platonic Concept, and Junggian Archtypes being inferior to the sons of Sparda - Though, I'm not so sure if these statements are legit, so I'll just exclude those statements from this. For now, I'm more prone towards the Complex Multiversal scaling of Dante.
