How Long Would IW Iron Man Last Against MCU Captain Marvel?

He’s definitely out powered here, but he’s versatile enough to give her a good amount of trouble and his physicals are just as good in every category besides lifting strength.

I'd say option 2, there isn't much Tony can do to her, she's superior in all categories.

He can go mano-a-mano with her. His older armor was able to fly through a Leviathan, which is likely made of similar material as the spaceship that she flew through.

Captain Marvel cannot beat him.

it didn't fly through the leviathan, the leviathan imploded due to his missiles and he popped out, he even lost control and crashed.

Longer than he lasted against Thanos. Would eventually lose, but puts up a good fight. Tanking the moon fragments and power stone blasts keeps him in the game for at least a couple of minutes.

He flew through part of it and exploded himself from his missiles which damaged his armor. That still doesn't detract from my point. Oh, and Bleeding Edge is more than durable and strong enough to go mano-a-mano with her.

@apex_pretador: Are you talking about the meteor feat ? Its not that impressive (and hard to quantify) since the meteor did not have a burning shock front but instead the rock itself seemed to be burning.

Nevermind surviving being buried in solid rock is a pretty good durability feat. Probably one of the best physical durability feats in MCU.

He could fight her hand to hand and do pretty well. The problem is if she start's blitzing him, which she is more than capable of doing. And while his durability is great she can put him down.

He will last a good while, but in the end she will take him out.

*SPOILERS, DO NOT READ IF UNPREPARED* Just saw capt marvel yesterday, and besides from the final climax at the end, when they get to mar-vells ship, she didnt really do to much through the movie that I can remember. It seemed to be implied she could 1 shot ronans ship (the scan based been posted about twice now) but it's worth nothing she never actually did. Infact tony may have better feats thinking back, but nothing really hurt capt marvel. *SPOILERS ENDED*

My mind may change about her winning, or how fast she wins after endgame though. In fact it most likely will.

She was hurt multiple times from the gravity thing that Yon-Rogg had. Her binary form did not sustain any damage but so far we have seen heavy caliber machinegun damages kree metal and Tony's repulsors bombs and laser all so much outdamage it. In fact in iw Ironman casually punched a hole in maw's ship with repulsors blast. And it took sustained power gem blast I don't think Carol can put him down by feats.

Iron Man can last very long and give her a good fight if Carol fights smart. If she goes into close combat then she loses.

I bet Tony builds an even better suit in Endgame. Everyone is looking at CM or Thor to be the ones to give Thanos a beating, but don't underestimate Iron man

@voidwatcher: Carol's blasts are more powerful than the energy attacks Thanos used throughout Infinity War, he was pretty weak in terms of attacking and has no feats of causing even grenade level damage like Caril at her weakest has shown.

Tony can give her a great fight in long distance, but in CQC she gets iced.

@yzone: how are you estimating this, he broke apart and pulled down a whole moon and large chunk hit Tony directly a durability feat Carol hasn't shown. Also we have shown what power stone can do before. Also Carol didn't take a single damage equivalent to Tony's hits

He definitively wouldn't be able to beat her.. ever, but I suspect it would be a decent fight until she kicks him to the curb.

@voidwatcher: You make it seem as if the moon chunk was impressive to begin with. It didn't fall from re-entry either, Thanos teleported it straight onto Titan. Ironman's armor was also barely damaged by it.

The power gem though caused some damage twice, it eroded Tony's shield and destroyed pieces of his armor with a direct power stone amped punch. Thanos was holding back too, a photon blast from Captain Marvel eradicated Kree ships like a hot knife through butter. On top of that a regular punch from Thanos broke Tony's armor and Carol's binary striking is >>> Thanos regular punches.

Ironman can't hold up to her attacks. She can oneshot Surtur.

Gets one shot like he did by Thor.

Only way Tony wins is with generous prep, though anyone who believes he does not give her a great fight due to durability and utility is simply dead wrong.

Honestly Carol needs scaling to Thor and Thanos to say she beats Tony at all. Her own AP isn't even above Tony's repulsors. Lifting strength is the only place she really gets a nod.

I know FTL Carol but she has never used that in battle.
