Your joking right....GAH!!! i CANT take it Superman used to be able to One shot planets, now he gets knocked out by TRAINS?!!.
6 YEARS Prior to the present.
That being said, is this Colosonaut or just regular Colossus?
If it's regular than Superman wins, even if Colossus could match him physically, Supes is still too fast.
Colossusnaught isn't immune to physical damage apparently, and he hasn't been shown to have much of a strength increase.

@Illuminatus: Juggernaut has a vulnerability to strong magics. Kuurth had enough power to hurt him which could bypass it. The only other instance I saw him getting "hurt" was in UXM when the helmet flew off after Cyclops shot it off but I question if he was powered up then seeing as how it broke and came off so easily when it was the same writer who wrote the fight with Kuurth. Other than that I haven't seen a solid incident of him getting hurt unless it was outside of Uncanny.
The Cyclops helmet-busting incident was the one I was referring too. It's silly that a concussive blast from Scott can melt any Juggernaut's helmet.@Illuminatus: Juggernaut has a vulnerability to strong magics. @Illuminatus: It didn't really hurt him, just staggered Colossus which Cyclops has done back in the day. Also I think Colossus depowered himself prior to entering Sinister's palace. His eyes were white, he was calm, no red energy or wanting to smash people. Though he depowered himself cutting himself from Cyttorak which cuts off the invulnerability, he just kept the helmet cause it provides telepathic resistance not Cyttorak. That's how I make sense of it. Not really sure if it was the writer's intentions though.
Seems like a fair assessment of what transpired. Nevertheless, what is true is that Piotr is purposely slouching in the role and isn't being nearly as effective as he possibly could be.@Illuminatus: It didn't really hurt him, just staggered Colossus which Cyclops has done back in the day. 1.It was a bullet train, which was going at some very fast speeds.
2.The action comics superman is golden age level

Maybe people should wait a few months before putting DCnU Supes into battles...
We have more than enough feats already to put him into a general area,he's at golden age superman level, and his powers continue to increase. And soon it'll be at the regular superman level. And since colossus and Dcnu supes can lift around the same amount of weight I thought it was a good match up.

Stopping a bullet train lol
Superman is still faster..plus Justice Leagues supes is stonger then action comics supes..I havent even seen him bleed yet..thats the supes with actual costume by the way
Hmmm..probably Supes then..Colossus is a very overhyped character, his strength fluctuates from top tier to second tier all the time and he has near zero feats against credible powerhouses (A victory against a Hulk strength Sasquatch may have been PIS) He is strong but strong for a mutant......Also depends on fighting skill as well...Colossus isn't very adept there I believe@acer51 said:

That's why it was silly. Lol
Looked eerily similar to a melting effect, but perhaps my memory serves me wrong.@Illuminatus: It cracked and chipped that was it. It didn't look like it was melting.
Clark only needs three feats for this battle...
1. Faster than a speeding bullet.
2. Almost as powerful as a locomotive.
3. Still able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
Feats number 1 and 2 allow Clark to beat Colossus, or stalemate if he's Colossunaut.
The answer...is still Superman.

You see those are the core princapals of Superman, so he's still Super-man as long as....
He, still goes faster then a speeding bullet.
he's more powerfull then a locomotive.
And he can stil leap tall builings in single bounds.
So now that he is no longer more powerfull then a locomotive, he has failed one of the requirments, and thus is no longer Superman.

Don't really matter, I don't think that the AC's flashback story arcs will last all that long and since we've already seen his weakness we know his power level until he becomes Superman's Superman. Redundancy ftw.
Oh shush up, you. :P@Illuminatus said:

@cattlebattle:
not necessarily true, colossus is probably the second strongest mutant alive besides namor and colossus has been training with the x men since he was a teenager. he is probably in the top 20 or thirty strongest people on earth in the MU. he has been training with wolvie for years

Sigh. I understand that it was a bullet train, but that still made me sad. Why, Action Comics, why???!!!!!

At any rate, Superman needs more feats before one can make a fair assessment of his power levels, in my opinion.Duct tape doesn't shut me up, but yeah I agree. Then again, what the hell do I know, apparently I'm just f**king stupid.

Coming from the guy with the MK av... "Mess" may not be totally appropriate.

- Moon Knight is not a melancholic mess (although I have become one after Bendis started writing him).
- Moon Knight would stomp all over Wesley. :)
- Which is why I said "Mess" not melancholic. I'm well aware that he wasn't schizophrenic till Bendis decided that this would change the world.
- BS and you f**kcin' know it. Betta Recognize, Son!

- Aha, but nevertheless, Bendis makes both of us unhappy, it would seem.
- Marc uses his new Capn'Murika powers and KABLAMO!, knocks Wesley out.

- True. Siege was great though.
- Wesley uses his powers and Marc's artery bursts.

/debate.
- It was remarkable toilet paper.
- Marc uses Logan powers and becomes a berserker-indestructible-hairy-crazy-man and eats Wesley.
Yeah Colossus is definitely one of the strongest mutants, but not one of the strongest super humans, in fact, he has zero feats against credible powerhouses like Thor or Hulk...he went toe to toe with Juggernaut and Gladiator respectively and lost both bouts without ever really looking like he had an upperhand@cattlebattle:
not necessarily true, colossus is probably the second strongest mutant alive besides namor and colossus has been training with the x men since he was a teenager. he is probably in the top 20 or thirty strongest people on earth in the MU. he has been training with wolvie for years
I agree with AC Supes being Golden Age levels so I give Collosus a fair shot at beating him. Supes is faster than him but he's shown to be more apt to step in and try to pummel Collosus first then figure out another tactic.
I give Supes 7/10 because Collosus has been consistently underwhelming to me for awhile.
