    The expedition to discover the origin of the Tunguska explosion has a dramatic result : Professor Kulik , hostile to Martin , dies in an attempt to kill him . The agents of the KGB , who were following the expedition , arrest Mystère that manages to escape with Java and Nadia , a young scientist with paranormal powers . In the Siberian desert the three discover a forgotten people that is the cause of the explosion.
