Dark Horse Presents #41
- The Argosy
The epic adventure continues and I can only enjoy the art and the story that hints at Greek myths and Oddysey. It was cool to get point of view of Zeuus himself, the thoughts of Walker are interesting to follow and I wonder what his unwilling trip to laboratories will bring.
- Trekker
What a conclusion. There were at least three major plot twists on eight pages of the story. But they were good though and that's all that really matters. And Mercy finally questions herself as Trekker with a little help of Molly, I like that. Maybe we will see her again on the pages of DHP, I certainly wouldn't mind.
- Same Story Told Yesterday
Experimental comics returned to DHP and 'SSTY' certainly raised some questions. The title is right: the story of how humans kill everything around them and themselves in the process was already told yesterday and the day before that and so on. But it wouldn't hurt for one more especially considering it was written in 1990, I am writing this in 2017 and not a lot of it changed in this aspect. The art is creepy and I would lie if I told I understood all the meanings behind all of the images. But some I did and I appreciate the concept, it is interesting to read something like that after stories that are clear as a sunny day and more entertaining than thoughtful.
Enjoyed another issue of DHP.
