Captain America and Thor Clips in the Iron Man 2 Blu-ray?

You'll have to work for it, though.

I suppose it isn't a coincidence that Shellhead's got blue rays coming out of his repulsors.

If you missed that extended THOR trailer that was taken down about as soon as it went up on the net, fret not - - Comic Book Movie’s saying it just might show up (along with CAPTAIN AMERICA teaser, to boot) in the IRON MAN 2 Blu-ray that’s coming out next month.  That might seem obvious, but it’s not going to be that simple, by CBM's reckoning. See Marvel isn’t just going to give the clips to you in the extra features menu - - they’re going to make you work for them. These Easter Eggs, as they’re called, will be secreted in a hidden SHIELD Data Vault which I’ll presume you’ll have to enter some code or perform some dance to gain access to.

CBM saying that the CG effects work in the THOR trailer will be more plentiful and more refined than what fans saw in the Comic Con clip, which ought to be a treat to see as that Destroyer footage was already pretty impressive. They’re also stressing that the CAP footage might not even feature the hero in costume. Which is really only fair. The movie just started shooting a couple weeks ago and it’s too bad that, the way marketing works now, they have to show off even the earliest dailies to get attention on the film. People are throwing their arms up about the costume when, as I recall, the studio stressed it’s still going through testing. That kind of thing happens all the time, but it’s only recently that audiences’ eyes get on that stuff at this stage. Imagine if people judged the first PREDATOR based on that first, ridiculous duckbill design for the monster. == TEASER ==

Another thing I’m raising my eyebrow is that IRON MAN 2’s coming out in Blu-Ray in September, barely five months after its release in May. I’ve heard about shrinking release windows but sheesh… this is one of the highest grossing movies of the year so far. You'd figure they'd be a little more leisurely about the release.
