It's New York Comic Con this weekend and while there's a lot of great art being created in Artist Alley, we found some of the coolest art you won't see in actual comics. Artists often do sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their blogs, Tumblrs and websites. Many artists even pre-arrange commissions on their sites so be sure to check them out for more information.
Todd Nauck has been taking commissions lists each day of the con and, surprise, surprise, they fill up really quickly. We can expect to see those on his Tumblr soon but here's some X-Men art he's been posting each day.
Marcio Takara posted a lot of pre-NYCC commissions on his Tumblr. Here's another one.
Agnes Garbowska has been pretty busy at NYCC. Here's a few pics she posted last week on her Tumblr, including a certain character that's been announced to (finally) return.
Peter Nguyen posted several new sketches on his Tumblr.
Check out this 1991 X-Men pic Khary Randolph posted on his Deviant Art page.
Ryan Stegman posted a couple Spider-Man sketches on his Tumblr, colored by Edgar Delgado.
Check out this American Psycho commission Daniel HDR posted on his Tumblr.
Chris Giarrusso posted some new art, including some up for auction on his website.
Freddie E. Williams II posted a New Mutants sketch on his TwitPic page.
Skottie Young posted some new Daily Sketches on his website.
Here's a Superman pic Paolo Rivera did earlier this year and posted on his blog.
Check out the charity auction sketch Tom Raney did for NYCC and posted on his Twitter page.
Mahmud Asrar posted some more NYCC pre-commissions on his Tumblr.
Joel Gomez posted some more art on his Tumblr this week.
Ale Garza posted this Rogue commission on his Instagram.
Vinny Navarrete posted a couple new sketches on his Tumblr.
Yildiray Cinar posted a few commissions on his Instagram.
Adam Kubert posted some NYCC sketches on his Tumblr.
That's it for this week. There will be another Mystery Art Challenge installment happening this week. Be sure to check that out as well as our other videos from New York Comic Con.
