    Not for vengeance

Reading this series is very much like stepping into another world.  Not in the sense of most comics, as most fans would have some sort of sense of a how things work in a comic book universe, here though the world is the one defined by the weird set of rules which the game depends upon.  As with the first story arc the stories kind of are based off of that, the more that a knowledge of the game is required, the less coherent the issue seems overall.  In this case though the issue more or less succeeds both on the strength of its characters and on the plot.  A long dead jester appeals to the three main characters for help (save for the centaur) and they go to discover who is trying to steal his body, this leads to them to a crypt where they meet up with various groups of adversaries.  The action and plot really did well to this story, especially so that most of the game mechanics were ignored.
