    Battle of the minds

    The Story:
As Lex Luthor starts his search for the missing Black Lantern Rings, he is interrupted by Mr Mind. In a battle of the minds between Mr Mind and Lex Luthor, would Lex Luthor fall victim to this psychic villainous Mr Mind or would Luthor overcome this attack and be the true mastermind that he claims to be.

    The Good:
    - With Lex Luthor taking control over Action comics, its suprising that he doesn't fail his audience in this second issue as he finds himself fighting against Mr Mind. We see parts of Luthor that describes the type of an insane fanatic that he truly is, you actually get more of whats going on inside his head than you did with the first issue. Alot of character respect is shown in this outstanding issue, even for both Mr Mind and Lex Luthor.
    - The C-List villain Mr Mind would play an outstanding part in this issue and did very well as a villain for Lex Luthor. Seeing Luthor go through a challenge that Mr Mind brought was the Epic highlight for me with this issue. Its understandable on why some felt disappointed when seeing his suprise appearance at the end of the last issue, but with this issue, im actually glad that he did make an appearance in Action Comics.
    - The artwork was outstanding in this issue, most of all, I loved how Mr Mind was drawn. Both cartoonish and creepy for me, for some reason big eyed bugs give me the creeps, but im going by this on a personal note. Overall, the artwork didn't fail its audience one bit.
    - I like how the storyline is presenting itself, a main storyline that involve Lex Luthors quest for Black Lantern rings and we actually see other small events entering this storyline as well, that both challenge and describes Lex Luthor to the audience and the readers.
    - Probably the one of the best parts of this comic for me, is what the writers were trying to do. Have the audience as part of the comic as we see the storyline progress. I couldn't help but notice how Mr Mind was talking to an audience, which I take is us, the readers, and as we turn the page, the writers would use our assumptions on Lex Luthor to help him regain his memory slowly. Now I'm probably not sure if thats what the writers was trying to do, but the connection that this comic was trying to obtain with its audience was very unique for what it was trying to be.
    - The best part, and I wouldn't want to share and spoil this rewarding comic, is the end to the battle between Lex Luthor and Mr Mind. That was probably the most awesome part for me with this comic.

    The Bad:
    - None at all for me

    The Ugly:
    - No ugliness within this comic

    The Conclusion:
I admit that my five out of five rating is personal, probably because im bald like Lex Luthor and I need some form of inspiration in the world of villainy. But overall, I know that this comic reached no further than four and a half star rating.

But that doesn't mean you shouldn't buy this comic.

Hell no, go and buy it, I know a C-list cartoonish villain like Mr Mind is in it, but suprising enough it doesn't fail you as an awesome comic. The issue isn't slacking or doesn't fail you in anyway, yes, it does take you on a different course as it explains Lex Luthors full potential of willpower.

I was gonna make a video about this comic, but I would prefer waiting till the last issue of this small event before making a dedication review like video.

THIS COMIC HAS BEEN AWESOME APPROVED AND IS SAFE TO BUY

Its issues like this and the previous that creates comic fans and possibly have Marvel fans convert themselves more into the world of DC.
So when you go to your local comicbook store and you haven't had the chance to read this issue or Action Comics 890, then I would highly suggest giving this issue a try and chances of you being entertained would be very high.

Luthor awakens in several fantasy scenarios - - including the old west and Greek antiquity - -  to finally confront Mr. Mind, who's been setting up the fantasies to trap him. The Good Wow... I was truly surprised at how good this was. Cornell weaves a story that's literally engaging on every single panel. I loved the framing device of Mr. Mind directly addressing the viewer to inform them of just how he was trying to manipulate Luthor and I loved how this whole issue was both a mind-bending thr...
