RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE

OH MY GOD.  VENOM IS IN DINOSAUR LAND IN THIS ISSUE!?  And you thought DETROIT was a bad place to be!?  THINK AGAIN!!  Venom is fighting that crazy fool Kraven, and he ain't thinking twice about capping this guy!  He's got all these spears and stuff shanked in him, BUT THAT AIN'T STOPPING HIM!  VENOM'S A HOSS!  He doesn't need legs to kick your ASS!  I bet you're wondering how he beats Kraven.  You're just dying to know.  All I'm going to say is that it involves bats.  LOTS AND LOTS OF BATS.  AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE KIND YOU BEAT YOUR NEIGHBOR WITH!  I'm talking about full on blood sucking giant sized BATS.  The message of this issue is to think twice before you try to stab a boss with a spear.

Cover: Frankly, I don't really care for the cover.  I can get behind the idea they are depicting and it's a pretty cool concept, but maybe the angles are what really bother me.  I know the symbiote is capable of doing all sorts of awesome things, but it still bothers me here.The Good: The art and the colors are mesmerizing.  The characterizations and the way that the fight was carried out was extremely well done, as was the few ending panels, giving you an obvious look at the direction of the ...

I was impressed by the first issue of this. The writing was solid, the action was entertaining, and the overall story is stacking up to be great. This month, we get a bit of a digression(in the second issue?) in a fight with, of all people, Kraven The Hunter. Now, I loves me some Kraven, so I was all over this issue.
