This Is Awesome 0

# I have to admit, I was worried about the path the character was taking. Needless to say, my worries were unfounded. The story is well written, and moves at the right pace. The use of the gun is very creative. My only problem is that it is not very accessible for new readers. However, having read the complete Nightwing series, I was never lost. The art was gorgeous, I read very slowly, mostly because the art was engrossing. My only artistic complaint was that the legs looked a little weird on t...

A Good Start 0

##This issue starts off by establishing who the character is. Then it sets up the incoming story arc.Story- The story revolves around Haley's Circus coming back to Gotham. The plot moves at a fast pace, never staying in one place to long. However, every location gets their due; no scene feels to short. Nice fight at the end, though Nightwing's surprise at a certain event I will not spoil surprised me. He should have seen it coming.Art-Eddy Barrows was on art duties, and he preforms well, during ...

Kind of a Let Down 0

This issue could have used some polish, but does its job setting up Grayson. The story is divided into 3 parts, which will each get a section in this review.Part 1: I honestly don't know what the point of this scene was. It has no bearing on the story as a whole, except to set up spyral as a major threat to Batman. They could have saved a few pages for a different part of the story and just have revealed the information needed in a straight forward conversation. The art was serviceable, but not...

Robin to the Rescue 0

Story- It starts off with Alfred telling Dick he did his best, and then takes the reader through the aftermath of Death Of The Family. I enjoyed it, but felt that the scene with Robin talking to Dick felt rushed. Also, how easily Dick went along with what Robin said felt a little weird. The scene with the creeper at the end was nice.Art- The cover really grabbed my attention. It was really well put together in my opinion. Inside, the art only impressed me in a couple panels. The rest looked nic...

Not How You Want To Start A Series 0

The comic starts off interesting enough, but by page 3 it loses some momentum.Story- The story is kind of kooky, and never really gets to somewhere interesting. There are several holes in the story, like when he destroys an army unit sent to stop him. Wouldn't an exploding helicopter be something seen on the news? Also some dialogue just seems really awkward. However, I enjoyed seeing the executives of various boards figure out what they were going to do about it.Art- The art is lacking. It sta...
