    A Good Start

##This issue starts off by establishing who the character is. Then it sets up the incoming story arc.

Story- The story revolves around Haley's Circus coming back to Gotham. The plot moves at a fast pace, never staying in one place to long. However, every location gets their due; no scene feels to short. Nice fight at the end, though Nightwing's surprise at a certain event I will not spoil surprised me. He should have seen it coming.

Art-Eddy Barrows was on art duties, and he preforms well, during the action, but I felt during the scenes with the circus that the faces looked a little weird. The ending was gorgeous, especially the above mentioned moment. The cover looks like a lot of the New 52 #1's, just the character looking grim.

Overall-A great way to start the series. Loved it from start to finish, and can't wait to read the second one.

After all, Dick Grayson is one of my favorite characters. I liked him as...

Mixed feelings I had when I found out Dick Grayson was going back to Nightwing.  I was happy he got the promotion and I felt the Batman Mythos was stronger if it was defined by just one man.  I still believe the Mythos of the Bat as an urban legend would be stronger with at least two Batmen running around, but it is hard to hate how we are reminded by Kyle Higgins' writing how comfortable Dick Grayson is in his own persona as Nightwing.  My favorite issues of the 52 were character pieces, the on...
