Is it time for Spider-Man to become a God?

Squirrel Girl is

Doom is now

Iron Man thinks he's one

Goku became one

Supermans Deathbattle Version is one

We have all these characters with so many differences between them that comparing most wouldn't seem logical. Though, some are compared often but so is this one; SPIDERMAN. Should he be written to become a Spider-God? It seems like the new catch for writers nowadays. Spider-God. Lord of the Andals. Breaker of Chains. I don't even know how Spider-Man could become a God but IT CAN TOTALLY HAPPEN. Would you be wtf'ed out?

What about Cosmic Spider-man?

I'm all for Spidey being the only one to defeat Galactus and he tracks down a super spider and becomes Spider-God, then he can one shot Galactus and the celestials.

Spiderman being a god would either be way too light and silly or way too dark. Think about all the "playing god" recently in comics and the hard decisions and truths those characters had to confront. It takes someone like Doom to deal with all of that and not break. Spiderman has the morals to be a good god but he does not have the mindset.

Just because he didn't call himself a God doesn't mean he wasn't a God.

Would not fit well with his character, I don't think.

Unlikely for that to happen anytime soon, but its a fictional media so who knows.
