All in all, Who wins it in a battle, and which is your favorite and why?

POKEMON WINS AND MY FAVORITE POKEMON IS DRAGONITE

Dude digimon were so over powered when they became final form(digivolve??) they would own every pokemon except the legends and the mews........still in the end the would still lose against some of the digimon like Wargreymon, Blackwargreymon, Galantmon, Metalseadramon( was that big fly sea serpent)....but if we talking about them as just rookies(2nd form not champion yet) then i give it to pokemon because Nidoking was so ridiculous(he was the big purple dragon/dinosaur with the horn)(barney with roid rage!!! lol) but seriously based on the pictures Pokemon and Nidoking is my favorite

I mean i know what your talking about Digimon but legendary pokemons vs digivole.....i think Digimon will get beat....matter of fact MEW and MEWTWO can defeat all of them

mewtwo & mew vs. the ancient warrior digimon??? thats kinda hard to swallow, to me(no homo).....

I like Pokemon better. But, I can't decide who wins, because both sides have a tremendous about of firepower, and I'm only familiar with the first and second generation of Pokemon and Digimon. I don't know any of the new ones and what they are capable of...

Do Digimon have anything that can compete with the pokemon that created the pokemon universe?

Digimon are generally more powerful than Pokemon, but it seems that Arceus is nigh omnipotent so it seems that Pokemon win this unless there's a digimon god.

I don't see the Digimon winning against Time and Space altering Pokemon.

There are Digimon who can control time and space like Milleniummon and Apocolymon. I think Digimon would beat Pokemon generally because their are more Mega level Digimon then their are Legnedary Pokemon. Legnedary Pokemon and Mega Digimon are the elites of both their respective worlds all of which have great powers. Of Legendary Pokemon their are alike maybe 10 to 18 and their are like hundreds of Mega Level Digimon.

Digimon are wild! Not only do they keep "digivolving" but they cross breed too, which Pokemone hasn't done yet(Unless you count the Pokemon games, where you can breed almost any pokemon with Ditto). Digimons tend to be much bigger too...and carry weapons...and can talk...LOL. But some pokemon have very strong psychic powers....Ahhh...its kinda hard to choose.

If I may say, Pkemon ,aside form the game(though is pretty monotone), has always been boring it's one of the easiest shows to make, im reffering to storyline. on the other hand, digimon creators keep tryign to hard and in the end comes to be the same thing as pokemon, only with a lot of make up on. Anyway, just an opinion.

Lessee...I'm not too sure, its kinda hard to make a decision here... I mean Digimon have the upper hand because there are SO MANY FREAKIN'  MEGAS, plus the four/five sovereigns, and Milleniummon, and all them others, and the fact that they can TALK... but, then again, pokemon can be explosively large and powerful (Hyper beam, anybody?) and plus there is mew two and celebi and Arceus (however you spell his name) btu then again..... oh what the hell... Ooh, and then the data of the digital world can possess people and spek through them.... (anybody remember kari??) *sigh* i think i'm gonna hurt my head... I love both those shows.. but i think digimon is my fav because when the little creatures talked, they didn't just say their names...  and it had more of a plot, and the different seasons weren't as teidious...

As for favorites loved adventure up to frontiers lost interest after that.

Why? Pokemon the animated series started to become stale and Digimon seemed like a breath of fresh air it was also a tad darker then Pokemon so that was a plus for me.

Digimon win and easily. Much, much more power on their side. The mega level Digimon can be pretty ridiculous and there are much more of them than legendary Pokemon.

For example, ZeedMillenniummon alone stomps all Pokemon at the same time.

I think digimon wins, the legendary pokemon and mews will do some damage.

digimon have more firpower and they are more powerful on average... smarter too. digimon for the win

Digimon win this.

They can digivolve by loading the data of their destroyed allies meaning for every digimon killed the rest get stronger by loading its data. Most powerful ones can digivolve on command and go from rookie levels (Slightly more powerful then Base stage forms like Charmander) into Megas instantly who are FAR more powerful then third stages like Charizard and the rest. Mewtwo is a psychic and so is Mew they can do a lot of stuff but they are hardly gonna take Nova/Terra Destroyers with ease.

Beezlemon alone could whip out most of the weaker Pokemon A few Double Impacts and most of the Pokemon backups are gone Pokemon without forcefield powers, or the ability to dodge like Charizard who can take into the sky will be hit and just being close to the bullets have killed Ultimate Stage Digimon before. So Base forms like Charmander, Pikachu, etc would be killed instantly and their evolved forms either killed or seriously hurt.

As far as Legendary Pokemon go it depends on which ones. The Birds and the Dogs are no issues against even two Megas. Heck a few Ultimates could at least fight them off to a standstill.

Digimon is dead and no one cares about it, Pokemon after decades is still going strong.

@ximpossibrux: Digimon is still alive just no where near as good as the classics.
And Pokemon has gone downhill. Have you seen the new lots of Pokemon?
