The sequel to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is coming our way. This time around we'll get to meet Casey Jones, Bebop, and Rocksteady. Paramount has just released the first teaser trailer for the movie.

“TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS” is the sequel to the 2014 hit film “TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES.” The film is based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman and is directed by David Green (“EARTH TO ECHO”). Michael Bay (the “TRANSFORMERS franchise) returns to produce alongside his Platinum Dunes partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form (“ TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES”), with Galen Walker and Scott Mednick (“TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES”) also producing.

Also returning for the sequel is Megan Fox (“TRANSFORMERS”) as April O’Neil, Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”) as Vernon Fenwick and the Turtles: Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Pete Ploszek at Leonardo, and Jeremy Howard as Donatello. Rounding out the cast is Stephen Amell (“Arrow,”) as Casey Jones, Tyler Perry ("GONE GIRL", the "MADEA" franchise) as Baxter Stockman, Academy Award nominated actress Laura Linney (“The Big C”, “LOVE ACTUALLY”) as Chief Rebecca Vincent, Brian Tee (“JURASSIC WORLD”) as Shredder, WWE World Heavy Weight Champion Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly as Rocksteady and Gary Anthony Williams (“THE INTERNSHIP”) as Bebop.

Looks better than the first movie, but the Turtles still look horrible and the CGI looks kinda bad in some scenes.

The trailer looks good but I was fooled by the first movie's trailer as well. Guess I'll just hope for the best.

I like that Amel is in a blockbuster movie but shouldn't Casey Jones be less... Pretty? I figured they'd at least give him long hair.

I will go see it just because Stephen Amell is Casey Jones but Bebop and Rocksteady are a pleasent bonus.

Looks fun

I have to admit: I like the cut of this movie's jib. My only complaint (aside from Megan Fox) would be that it looks like it's edging dangerously close to Spider-Man 3 levels of crowding: Casey, Bebop, Rocksteady, Shredder, Stockman, and some space based enemies that are probably Krang. S'a lot to take up screentime along with April's inevitable plot, I'm worried we won't get much time with the Turtles again.

That said: I really hope Stephen steals the show in every scene he's in so more movies get him involved. He'll probably be acting alongside Megan Fox in most of his scenes, and given that in terms of acting, she's basically nothing, should make it much easier for him to look good in comparison.

First movie doesn't do well, so make another...great

So it's another "invasion in New York" movie. I'll be waiting till this one comes out on DVD.

This looks like it will be a lot of fun. Don't expect it to be a great movie, but I bet it will be enjoyable.

I know some people are excited tot see the Arrow guy as Casey Jones. I never seen Arrow so I can't fully judge his acting, but from the trailer I just don't see him as Jones yet. Megan Fox as April and the Turtles CGI still bother me. At least Rocksteady and Bepop look kind of cool.

The major flaw with the first movie was we really never spent any time with the turtles to get to know them and it was just one action set peice to the next, so when Raphael made that big speech at the end it held no weight at all. This movie looks more of the same, but I won't lie I'm going to see it just to see Bebop and Rocksteady on the big screen, not sure how I am liking Casey Jones on roller blades though

I'm not seeing Casey Jones in Stephen Amell. I'm seeing Oliver Queen still.

He could have changed his facial hair or wear a wig or idk to differenciate the 2 characters a bit.

This looks like a lot of silly fun, and the interviews that are coming out this morning give me even more faith that this has the potential to be a good time.

To clarify, good as in "it's embracing the source material and feels like a live-action cartoon." Not good as in "this is a compelling movie!"

Looks great everything looks great.

I liked the first film despite it flaws (weak villain, uneven tone and story) but this looks tio make up for that and improve on what was good in the first film, namely the interaction and action of the turtles.

This and i also dont like will arnett’s character. In the first movie he did nothing except look at megan fox’s ass.

Bebop and Rocksteady look awesome. But I still cant get over how lame the Turtles look. I skipped the first one but maybe I should give it a shot, it's available on most of my streaming services anyway.

Looks like a fun film that'll being even more kids into the Turtle fandom.

I honestly loved the first movie. Ready for the sequel!

The Ninja Turtles, Megan Fox and Stephen Ammell are about to get Brogue Kicked by the Celtic Rhino, Rocksteady (the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus is playing). This movie is already getting more interesting than the first.
