now we're getting somewhere...o and SLOTT? REALLY?

so in The Amazing Spider-Man #700 we saw Peter and Doc Ock switch bodies and Peter Died (in Ock's body) so now Doc Ock (in Peter's body) is now trying to be a better spider-man as seen in Issue 1. but now we see that Spider-Ock is trying to make Peter's life better by getting MJ and him together...but now we get to see the true things i wanted to see out of this issue.

    THE GOOD:

Slott is very smart. if this was a series through the eyes of Ock it would ruin the whole thing, like i would hunt after Dan. BUT as we saw in Superior Spider-Man #1 Pete's still there just as a ghost who's trying to take back his body and has to watch the mess Ock makes. we finally get to relate to Pete not as a person but as an audience which has never ever been done before. when's Peter's angry, we're angry. When he's sad. we're sad. it's very interesting and does the whole relatable thing in a new way. also we finally get to see Carlie think about the night that happened in the last issue. she's thinking: "hey both me and MJ find Peter being weird WHAT IF?...". so we get a potential return from Peter. also we get to see how Ock is being Superior and how he's further protecting the city. also he even got the living brain to work at his command which was very VERY nice. also we see more how people at Horizon think about Peter. everyone thinks he's acting strange which is what us fans want to see. also we get to see how Ock is slowly falling in love with MJ which is creepy but ok. also Vulture is back, so i guess that's good. also we get to see one more thing that's great: Peter Let's go of MJ and tells her that they can't be together. so all of you Peter+MJ lovers can finally rest at ease.the ending is great so i'm exited to see the next issue.

    THE BAD:

for once, nothing really. yes, Ock is trying to get with MJ, yes, it's creepy Blah blah blah but what is he going to do? try and hug her? NO, of course he'll try to get with lady, he hasn't had action in years XD.

    THE VERDICT:

do not listen to anyone that says it's a bad issue. this issue is, ahem, 'superior' than the last one. it's what i wanted from the series and most fans too.

    9/10

I've been a Spider-Man fan all my life, and along with many Spider-Man fans I have been upset with recent events. I have however came into this series trying to have as open a mind as possible, but I'm still finding it hard to like it.PlotThis issue sees Superior Spider-Man (Doctor Octopus) trying to work out how to be Spider-Man whilst attempting to date Mary Jane, whilst the ghost of Peter Parker follows him.ReviewThis wasn't a bad issue, but far from brilliant. Marvel, and Dan Slott have take...

This Issue Is Crazy Banana Pants! 0

When i picked up the first issue, i really liked it, i am serious, i gave it a decent, NO in fact i gave it a very good score, but Holy hell the second issue was much much worse. however, we'll explore that later. The good side of this story would be the fact that peter parker is alive, or he is a ghost now, meaning that this shouts out " OCK IS STILL THE VILLAIN",meaning that this all a means to an end. I like how peter/or ock uses his intelligence much more efficiently, in fact, otto comes up ...
