When Was the Last Time You Caressed Somethin´ That Wasn´a Trigger
I think it´s great when you pick up a comic book, start reading it and realize that´s all of the same old same old, dumping Franks again in the can, so now everyone doing time will be looking for a piece of him, same scene I´ve seen over and over again, wait...this is good? Yes, it´s good when all that first impression is washed away by an insteresting narrative bringing back Castle to his last year in Vietnam, when he can put things in perspective after all that was said to him by Bullseye in the last arc story: is he afraid of dying or living? Did he ever try to live happily with his family or was just he counting time and waiting for something or someone call him up again to wage war or do some killling? This is the question that´s in Frank´s mind at the time that the first attempt on his life is made by a bunch of hesitant convicts. Dillon´s art is good for capturing the feellings of the story, but the dialogues are the best here, especially the ones involving Castle and a madman back at the hospital in Vietnam. I thought that the last arc story wasn´t good, that Aaron had lost his grip and focus in this tittle, but reading this issue I still get some hope that he still has some good things to deliver for this character.
