He provided all of the comic art for the Edgar Wright show "Spaced" (which is an amazing show), so they named the male lead, who is an aspiring comic artist, after him (Tim Beasley).

I'd lean toward agreeing that Mongul was VERY chatty, but I thought both Starlin and Porter owned it by making him the type of villain who would pontificate to a captive audience.

I think Grundy has been GREAT in Earth-2 as a general thing (the first arc of the title stands as one of my favorites in New 52 so far), this issue just felt like it could've given us more backstory and less returning.

There's just a very odd panel of Ex Nilia standing against Carol and she's...VERY close and looks to have one hand on her hip. Like I said above, it's not SUPER distracting/pervy, it's just a weird positioning.

He just wanted his appearance altered, but since most of his head is mechanized, all it REALLY does is change his hair color and upper facial bone structure...it's purely cosmetic and for a being like Brainiac that makes NO sense.

It WAS an amazing twist to make one of Superman's most vicious villains turn out to be a throwaway one-off character.
