@sog7dc:
Personally I think Ellis run on Stormwatch and Authority is overrated, but I can see why people love it. I like it, but I didn't find that the stories were better than most other comics. I also found a majority of the characters to be rather dull and uninteresting personality wise(I love the powers and concepts behind the characters, though).
Not the biggest fan of Millar's Authority. I felt as though Millar was just making Authority more dark and edgy, just for the sake of the comic being dark and edgy.
Waid's JLA run was ok. I believe it is just as good as Morrison's run(keep in mind I think Morrison's JLA is good, but not amazing like a lot of people make it out to be). Not the biggest fan of Tower of Babel.
Kelly's JLA has some really good moments and some really bad moment. I liked the Fernus arc, but there are many aspects that make Kelly's JLA less than stellar. I felt the first arc and the arc I believe after the Obsidian Age to be not very good. Didn't like some of the characters he added to the roster, especially Faith. Overall I think his run was ok.
Remender's Uncanny X-Force I thought was good. My biggest complaint was the horrible characterization of the Captain Britain Corps. It felt as if Remender just didn't understand the Captain Britain Corps at all and out a minimal amount if research into it. If I remember correctly Remender also contradicts quite a bit of Captain Britain continuity(sorry about that my fanboyism is showing lol).
Overall I think these runs are good, but not as good as people make them out to be.
