one of the best origin movies ever 0

Nearly perfect rebooted origin story. Genius move to set the story in as real and as grounded of a setting as possible. Christopher Nolan made something special with his Batman films and it feels like Batman Begins is often overlooked due to the reputation of The Dark Knight. Fans should at least appreciate Batman Begins in a similar light. ...

the best comic book movie of all time 0

Heath Ledger gives one of the best performances of the last twenty years. When you watch his take on the Joker, it's one of complete surprise and mystery. It's frightening with how chaotic and mischievous he makes him. Ledger's performance alone is good enough to make The Dark Knight a very good movie, but fortunately this is a film with even more than that -- making it the not just the best superhero movie, but one of the best films of all time. ...

good but not great 0

Of course it's about one hundred times better than Iron Man 2 or Captain America: The First Avenger, and should keep multiplexes everywhere in its competent grip. While the film lacks the visual imagination of Thor or the grounded feeling of Iron Man, it has more of a sense of structures on a huge scale being blown up by even bigger explosions....

one of the best third entries in trilogies 0

Nolan somehow never loses control - this is an accomplished and tremendously confident filmmaker, both in the execution of his thrilling chases and action beats, and in his manipulation of the complicated, multi-faceted narrative. A very nice follow up to the Oscar winning "Dark Knight" "The Dark Knight Rises" dosnt disappoint. With more vehicles and some better acting by Bale this movie is mostly carried by its fantastic story and its crazy villain Bane. Once again Nolan outdoes himself in this...
